LIKES

GENERAL LIKES
I really love fics that dig into character. It can be a moment or a series of moments—and it doesn't have to be something overly plotty. I love emotional arcs and characters learning something about themselves and even each other. I never want characters to be perfect—rip them apart, show how ugly they can be, and put them back together in a way that may not be perfect but is good enough. I love explorations of PTSD, complicated relationships with people or ideas or even past events. Feel free to also be ridiculous and have characters be hopeless, funny, quippy and witty. I love characters being a little foolish and having fun.

• angst
• apocalypse au (someone presses the wrong button, Terminator-esque, zombies, it Just Happens)—specifically the survival elements and teamwork
• banter
• canon divergences (what if, someone makes a different decision, filling in the blanks of canon, fixing up canon's mistakes—as long as it has a foothold in canon where characters aren't changed drastically from their canonical selves)
• character studies
• cheating/infidelity
• communication
• complicated relationships
• courting
• enemies to lovers
• espionage—secret identities, undercover missions, lying, secret keeping, sharing a secret they can't share with anyone else, spy/handler. (I love the shit out of Alias and Nikita.)
• established relationships
• fake dating/ marriage
• first times (dates, sex)
• found family
• huddling for warmth
• humour
• intimacy—emotional and/or physical.
• miscommunication (people bring their own interpretations and baggage to the table and it ends up with misinterpretations all around; one person's too blunt or the other tries to beat around the bush to save the other's feelings and this results in miscommunication)
• pining
• pregnancy (also including abortion and miscarriage as long as it's treated respectfully)
• pwp
• road trips
• secret relationships
• sharing a bed
• smut
• soulmate au (name on your wrist, countdown tattoo, you just fucking know)
• ust
• vulnerability—emotional

SMUT LIKES
I prefer terminology such as "clit, cock, cunt, dick" and don't mind "pussy" (although I prefer it to be used in moderation).

I do enjoy fail sex, sex where people stumble, sex where people might not be as confident as they think they will be, someone comes too early, and sex that pans out as expected from start to finish.

• age difference (i.e. 16 yo/21 yo; 24 yo/45yo—15 and younger is a no go)
• anal
• banter
• begging
• biting
• body worship
• breathplay
• clothed sex (also one person clothed, other person naked)
• consensual sex
• deepthroating (consensual + communication a must)
• dubcon (consensual to an extent, some communication involved; it doesn't have to be agreed upon by both parties but the other person consents to getting down and dirty in some way)
• edging
• facials
• fingering (anal, vaginal)
• hair pulling
• handholding
• handjob
• inexperience
• light bondage
• non-penetrative sex
• oral (blowjob/ cunninlingus)
• orgasm control/ denial
• overstimulation
• pegging
• power imbalance
• public sex (secret/ semi public)
• rimming
• roleplay
• rough sex
• scissoring
• spanking
• spitroast
• threesomes (m/f/m, f/f/f, f/m/f)
• virginity loss

ART LIKES

I've learned that Yuletide allows art for treats, so if you choose to make me art, thank you! I am not someone who knows how to draw a nice circle, so I am more than thrilled to receive art. I like bright colours, character centric pieces that express an emotion and capture something about the character. I usually like simplistic backgrounds, but if backgrounds are your thing, please go for it.

As corny as it sounds, as long as you have fun with it, I'm going to love it.

Generally speaking, I'd love:
• character portraits.
• characters existing together in quiet spaces—sitting on the edge of a pier, sitting on a park bench, on a bed, couch, sitting on the grass in a park.
• doing research—sitting at a desk with their nose in a book and their tongue poking out from the side of their mouth.
• characters doing magic together—cauldrons, black cats, witch hats, sparkles, bright lights, vivid magic.
• kissing, holding hands, being shy, blushing.

If you find any of the fic prompts inspiring and want to portray it as a moment, please do!

(BOOK) THE GREAT LIBRARY - RACHEL CAINE SERIES

CHARACTERS: Glain, Jess, Khalila.

Ships: Glain/Jess, Khalila/Jess, Khalila/Jess/Glain.

DNWS: Morgan/Jess as a main ship. I'm not the biggest fan of them as I feel they work better separately rather than as a unit. I'm good with them being broken up or a background pairing.

You don't have to include all the characters. I do have a major soft spot for Khalila/Jess.

I absolutely adore this series. There's something to the writing, world building, and the characters that makes me never want to put these books down. I love how every character has an important part to play and how the group works together as a well-oiled machine. When I had first started reading this series, I had thought Jess would be front and centre and was gladly surprised to find that he wasn't.

I love how Khalila and her culture is represented and how Glain is celebrated for being so tough and masculine. I love Jess' dry humour and his cunning and how he's encouraged to feel his feelings when he's grown up in a household where he's been expected to be as impenetrable as stone. These characters are so dynamic and interesting.

What I love most is how Jess, Khalila and Glain all respect one another. Jess and Glain's banter is everything—he understands that her language isn't "Are you okay? Do you need anything?" but is "Get the fuck up and keep moving on". I love that Glain lets herself be a little vulnerable around Jess and I love that he notes that and doesn't rub it in her face that she is a bit of a softie. I'm a big sucker for characters who appear tough and posture as being impenetrable and unfeeling, but are big emotional feelers deep down.

I love Khalila and Jess' mutual respect for one another. I always felt like they had great chemistry, and I always wished for something to develop between them (even though I absolutely love Khalila/Dario and how she can step on him and he'd say thank you). He's the hands while she's the brains and I always feel like he really celebrates her intellect every chance he gets. There's a trust between them to get the job done; I feel they compliment one another so well.

And I love the acceptance between Glain and Khalila. They are polar opposites, yet Khalila never begrudges Glain for being tough and posturing as impenetrable and Glain never, ever disregards or even disparages the way that Khalila operates and is gentle and kind. The way they communicate is so different, yet they meet each other halfway.

I'm also happy for other characters to make an appearance. In particular: Anit (I love the idea of her with Jess in the future), Brendan, Dario, Morgan, Thomas, Santi, Wolfe.

Prompts:
• Trying to deal with trauma.
• Comforting Jess in the wake of Brendan's death.
• Post-war, settling down—dealing with the trauma of having incited a rebellion, causing deaths, and seeing those they care about die. Or it can be something sweet and not quite as distressing.
• Remembering the fallen.
• Sorting books or reading a book aloud (perhaps a fairytale).
• Jess needs to pretend to be Brendan after Brendan's death.
• Missing moments.
• Nightmares.
• During a quiet moment, breaking down from the intensity of war.
• Smut of any kind—hurt/comfort, wanting to forget, celebrating victories, being together, post-war bliss or dealing with trauma.

(TV) SEX EDUCATION

CHARACTERS: Ruby, Otis, Isaac, Maeve.

Ships: Ruby/Otis, Maeve/Isaac, hell—even Ruby/Isaac.

DNWs: Maeve/Otis as a ship. I'm happy for them to have broken up or to play a role in Ruby/Otis getting together, but I'd like to opt out of receiving a fic focusing on them romantically.

You don't have to include all the characters. I have a big soft spot for Ruby/Otis.

I love this show for its sex positive nature and the way it doesn't ever humiliate or shame its characters for the sexual exploits they get up to. It's such a fun show with a great sense of humour (and I'm a sucker for the location and its bright colours).

What I love the most about season three is that it really let Ruby/Otis and Maeve/Isaac shine. Ruby Matthews also came out as the one who carried the show on her back (along with Adam who I never liked in the first place and became a stan by the end of the season) and really, really grew as a person. (Also, her makeup was always A+ imo!)

Ruby and Otis surprisingly complimented one another so well. I love how Ruby was still so hard and sharp with Otis, but she also began to soften in his presence and didn't feel the need to keep her Untouchable Queen Bee persona in place. He seemed to make her feel comfortable with being a little flawed and not quite as defensive as she tends to be. Otis seemed to really break down Ruby's walls and encouraged her (without even knowing!) to allow herself to have fun and enjoy herself. I especially love how Ruby encouraged Otis to be comfortable in his own skin and to be himself. While she definitely was demanding, she was accepting of him and his homeless clothes and never really did try and change him in the end. She respected him when he stood up for himself and said "I'm me". I love their chemistry and the way that they so seamlessly fell together. Otis seemed so relaxed with Ruby, and I really love how Ruby and her friends banded together at the end. I feel like her opening up to Anwar and Olivia was because Otis showed her doing so wasn't weak, but very, very strong.

I really warmed to Maeve/Isaac for their chemistry and the way that they are so physically intimate. I really, really enjoyed their physical intimacy scene (god, that scene was so, so good). I feel like Maeve lowers her walls around Isaac and allows herself to be a little less guarded. And I think Isaac allows himself to open up and have a little fun. I love their banter and I love the way that they quip at each other. Their chemistry is hot imo and I think that they had a great foundation in friendship (even if he had a crush on her and deleted that voicemail). Maeve really seemed to blossom in his presence. Isaac got her in ways no one else does (except Aimee) and I feel like Isaac accepts the ugliness of Maeve when Maeve has hidden that from everyone for so long. These two just click for me.

I'm happy for other characters to make an appearance. Including: Adam, Aimee, Anwar, Eric, Jeanne, Olivia, Rahim.

Prompts:
• After their breakup, Otis decides he's going to try and win Ruby back.
• Missing scenes between Ruby and Otis.
• Ruby picks Otis up on the side of the road and they have an awkward car ride. (Perhaps his bike got a flat.)
• Ruby and Otis at graduation.
• Ruby and Otis post-school reconnecting.
• Halloween—costume dress-up, Ruby and Otis accidentally wear a couples costume despite not being a couple, Isaac and Maeve decide to see who can get the most candy, haunted house.
• Otis finds Ruby bowling by herself. The two reconnect.
• Maeve keeps in contact with Isaac during her time in America via letter writing. (Maybe he makes fun of her for choosing snail mail over email.)
• Isaac decides to save up money and go to America to visit Maeve.
• Maeve returns from America and goes to see Isaac.
• Isaac visits Anna and Elsie and keeps Maeve updated.

(CARTOON) BOB'S BURGERS

CHARACTERS: Louise, Tina.

DNWS: Smut situations and incest.

[ GROANS ]

I absolutely love this show. I love the dynamics and I love how everyone in the Belcher family fits a stereotype and even breaks it.

Who I love the most is Louise. God! She is so cunning and manipulative and intelligent! And she's so funny, too! I love that her thing is her bunny ears and I love how she always, always forgets to pull them down when she hides behind things. I love the fact she slaps the boys she likes. She's that tough girl who thinks she can't be soft on the outside, and I absolutely love how Linda and Tina always encourage and celebrate Louise giving into her vulnerable, soft side. A girl who likes dolls can also be tough!

It took me a bit to warm up to Tina, but I've really come to love her. She is so unapologetically herself. I love it when she's stressed out and starts doing her "Ah ah ah ah ah!" She can't lie to save her life, she prides herself on the truth and being herself, and I love how Tina tries so desperately to fit in but always ends up settling with being herself. I do wish she would let Jimmy Jr go since he's kind of a loser who never appreciates her and go after Josh!

I really love Louise and Tina together. Tina takes on the big sister role even though Louise definitely steamrolls her at times. I feel like, as a pair, Louise encourages Tina to be bold and Tina encourages Louise to be vulnerable.

Prompts:
• Age up.
• Tina helps Louise get ready for a date with either Regular-Sized Rudy or Logan.
• Someone (or Tammy) has been bullying Tina, so Louise takes matters into her own hands.
• Louise and Tina play a board game (or video game) and something similar to Jumanji comes to life that requires them to work together to survive and save the day.
• Louise's bunny ears end up stained. Tina helps her clean them.
• Tina writes Louise a story for her birthday where she's the best super spy in the world.
• Prank war.
• Tina helps Louise get ready for high school.

(CARTOON) WHAT IF… ZOMBIES?

CHARACTERS: Zombie Wanda, Vision.

Ships: Wanda/Vision.

This was my favourite episode of the series, even if I felt that it should've been a lot longer. I really love zombies and the idea of survival, and while I love Peter in it being so good because film taught him, what I loved most was Wanda and Vision and their tragic love story.

I am a huge fan of WandaVision so I really enjoyed the role reversal where Vision was in denial about Wanda. (I love how Wanda is so desperate to have a family she created that hex and world, and I love that Vision has always, always been her number one supporter and confidante.) I imagine that their relationship in Zombie AU was similar to how it was portrayed in flashbacks in 1x08: Vision always tries to connect with Wanda even though he has no experiences to really draw from. He loves this woman so much he wants to give her comfort and be there for her.

I love that Zombie Wanda was still OP as fuck (STRONGEST AVENGER!) and that she still had some piece of Wanda inside of her. Even though zombies are often portrayed as being brainless, I really enjoyed how Wanda appeared like she was taken with the disease and there was a part of her still inside. I love how Vision never gave up on Wanda and that he turned into someone he couldn't recognise for her—and I doubt Wanda would resent him for it. I think she'd be heartbroken he did what he did for her and destroyed himself in the process.

The one thing I wish the episode covered was how everything happened, how it got to Wanda, when Wanda was infected, and the slow deterioration of Vision's loyalty to those around him.

Prompts:
• Wanda and Vision after she's been bitten.
• Wanda resurrects Vision after he de-stones himself.
• They find a cure for zombieism.
• Missing moments. Did Wanda recognise T'Challa? Who else did Vision feed her? Did Wanda infect Steve? How did Vision feel as things got out of control? Quiet moments between the two.
• Zombie Wanda has moments of being present/ lucid from the virus.
• Vision taps into Wanda's mind and gives her an illusion of them that are happy, alive, and living a blissful life with their sons. Perhaps being a zombie is bringing her pain.
• Wanda's been bitten; Vision and her get it on.mp3 while she begins to turn into a zombie.

(TV) THE SECRET CIRCLE

CHARACTERS: Faye, Jake.

Ships: Faye/Jake.

DNWs: Cassie/Jake as a ship. I like them as friends and would prefer that they aren't a ship—background or otherwise.

I've always loved these two. I enjoyed them a lot more than Cassie/Jake because Faye and Jake had history and banter and great chemistry. I loved it whenever they were on the screen together. I feel like they simply got one another. They're both black sheep, they're both misfits, and they're hot af together.

Faye seemed to really allow herself to be vulnerable with Jake, and I feel like Jake mirrored that with her. She's someone who has so many walls and postures as being the bad girl who is so untouchable, but, really, she's just a girl who's a little romantic and doesn't want to get too close to people. Jake seems like a bit of a loner who puts those around him before himself.

I love their history together. I love that Jake thinks he knows Faye but he really, really doesn't. And I enjoy how it's juxtaposed with the fact that Faye understands Jake better than Jake knows himself. The fact that he's surprised she hasn't really been intimate with anyone else is just… I love that trope of realising you had someone worked out all wrong—and being surprised and taken aback by how much you meant to someone.

And, physically, they just look so good together.

I'd love to see Jake, especially, kind of making more of an effort with Faye. He has treated her like shit, and I'd love for Faye to not give into him so easily. He can work for it!

Other characters I'm happy to be included in any fic: Adam, Cassie, Dawn, Diana, Lee, Melissa. (If you want to do some jealousy with Faye/Lee being a ship, go for it! I just ask Faye/Jake is the endgame.)

Prompts:
• Jake stops being a dickhead and tries to woo Faye.
• Practicing magic. It goes right… It goes wrong… Perhaps Jake pretends he can't do some magic and Faye has to show him.
• Magic sex.
• Jake tries to make up for missing prom.
• Faye's with someone else and Jake's jealous.
• Halloween ideas: they go trick or treating, haunted house goes wrong.
• Christmas ideas: Faye doesn't get Jake anything for Christmas but he gets her something special.

(TV) MISFITS

CHARACTERS: Alisha, Simon.

Ships: Alisha/Simon.

This is one of my favourite shows. The humour (the vulgarity of that humour), the situations, and the character development is so good. I love all the seasons the original crew (including Rudy and Rudy Too) are included in. I think it's such a great take on superheroes and powers, ordinary people becoming extraordinary, and the way that powers can not only give you more confidence and positively change your life, but also really, really hinder it.

I particularly love Alisha. I think she goes through a great evolution as a young woman. She lowers her walls, becomes more confident in who she is, and even allows herself to be vulnerable.

My favourite storylines include the time travelling (even though… it literally seems to shit on itself later with that very depressing timeloop), the video game guy who believed everything he was experiencing was a video game, and all the murdering. The teamwork, the fuckups, and the way the team would come together and just make things worse (but find solutions regardless!) was so great.

Regarding Alisha/Simon, I really love how they compliment one another. Their chemistry is out of this world. I love Simon's growth in confidence as a young man and how Alisha encourages him to grow and become louder and more confident. She never hinders him. I like how Simon comes to stand up for himself. I love the complications and complexities of their relationship—of Superhoodie Simon manipulating Alisha (even if it wasn't conscious) to fall in love with him and see his past self in a desirable light, Superhoodie Simon (subconsciously) taking advantage of the fact that Alisha can't touch anyone, and Alisha using her Superhoodie knowledge to get closer to Simon.

I'd love to see Superhoodie Simon and Alisha's relationship in the future and what that looked like. Did he always interfere with time? Did she fall in love with him at a different pace and in a different way? How did Alisha originally die? What was it like for Superhoodie to be in the past and see Alisha?

I'm more than happy for you to rewrite their ending, give them a new one, explain time travel, and even rip the time travel apart.

Prompts:
• Alisha and Simon are stuck in a timeloop. Perhaps, to give them a more positive ending, they end up getting out of it.
• Different powers—Simon still has time travelling, but perhaps Alisha get something a little more useful.
• Other versions of Superhoodie who have travelled through time comes to Alisha in the past.
• Alisha time travels.
• Missing moments.
• Marriage, pregnancy, leaving community service for good.

Thank you in advance and have fun writing/creating! ♥
