225. DEAR CHOCOLATIER.

Hello, Tim Tam Slammer (aka Chocolatier)! Thank you for creating something for me! 🥰

I'm [archiveofourown.org profile] buries and [tumblr.com profile] finnicks.

I've written this letter (with the assistance of one of my cats—she's literally sitting in front of me as I type this, so cat lord help me if there's any typos) to give you an idea of my likes, dislikes, prompts, and some things I enjoy (and maybe don't enjoy) in canon. Please don't feel as though you need to include all the prompts in one fic/artwork. I'm hoping this will merely inspire you.

If you find one section is a little shorter than the others, please don't think I want it any less! With some of them, I have a lot to say and with others I am (thankfully) a little more concise. My prompts are in no particular order other than the canons have been alphabetised and categorised.

I have prompted for fic and art. Please be aware that there are spoilers for all fandoms in this letter.

LIKES

FIC LIKES

I really love fics that dig into character and that are character-driven and character-focused. I love seeing characters change, whether it be their opinion on something, them opening up a little more than they ever have before, or them learning a lesson or something about themselves. I love characters who are flawed and fics that represent a full person, not just someone who is flawless without their ugly, marred bits.

I love emotional arcs and characters learning something about themselves and even each other. I never want characters to be perfect—rip them apart, show how ugly they can be, and put them back together in a way that may not be perfect but is good enough.

I love explorations of PTSD, complicated relationships with people or ideas or even past events. Feel free to also be ridiculous and have characters be hopeless, funny, quippy and witty. I love characters being a little foolish and having fun.

I don't need my fics to be overly plotty. I tend to prefer character to overpower plot, but if you're a plotty writer, then by all means, please go ahead and plot away! I enjoy plots that challenge character and require teamwork, that display someone's skills and weaknesses and show people are well-rounded.

And if you want to write me some porn, please do! I love porn that shows character, relationships, hangups, why characters work so well together, trust, etc. and some shot shit of people getting down and dirty.

Please note that I am happy with any rating of fic (unless specified via the exchange criteria). I'm happy for explicit PWP or porn with plot (or a story with no porn).

A GENERAL LIST OF LIKES:
• angst.
• banter.
• canon divergences (what if, someone makes a different decision, filling in the blanks of canon, fixing up canon's mistakes—as long as it has a foothold in canon where characters aren't changed drastically from their canonical selves).
• character studies.
• cheating/infidelity (unless specified, I'd prefer it be with the ship I've requested—so A and B cheating with each other).
• communication.
• complicated relationships.
• courting.
• dark (emotional manipulation, psychological manipulation, dealing with dark situations i.e. aftermath of abuse (emotional, mental and physical); misleading i.e. pretending to be someone else; depression i.e. struggling to cope with loss, struggling to cope with a sense of self; Stockholm Syndrome). As I have DNWed domestic violence, I'm happy for fic to be in the aftermath of those actions and deal with the ramifications.
• enemies to lovers.
• espionage—secret identities, undercover missions, lying, secret-keeping, sharing a secret they can't share with anyone else, spy/handler (I love the shit out of Alias and Nikita).
• established relationships—friendships, romantic relationships, sexual relationships, people already married, etc.
• fake dating/ marriage.
• first times (dates, sex).
• found family.
• futurefic/ post-canon fic.
• happy/hopeful endings.
• huddling for warmth.
• humour.
• intimacy—emotional and/or physical.
• miscommunication (people bring their own interpretations and baggage to the table and it ends up with misinterpretations all around; one person's too blunt or the other tries to beat around the bush to save the other's feelings and this results in miscommunication).
• pining (I do have a fondness for it being unresolved until the very end—but that said, feel free to have it be resolved!).
• pregnancy (also including abortion and miscarriage as long as it's treated respectfully).
• road trips.
• secret relationships.
• sharing a bed.
• smut.
• ust.
• vulnerability—specifically emotional, but can be physical as well.

AUS I LIKE

As long as it fits under the canon divergence umbrella and these situations are embedded into canon as we know it and doesn't skim against my DNWs for AUs, I love the following type AU scenarios:

• apocalypse au (someone presses the wrong button, Terminator-esque, zombies, it Just Happens)—specifically the survival elements and teamwork.
• future fic/post-canon—what happens after a particular point in canon and someone makes a different decision? what happens after a canon that's ended? set it a year, five years, ten years, etc. in the future.
• requested powerswaps as long as it's resolved by the end of the fic.
• soulmate au (name on your wrist, countdown tattoo, you just fucking know).
• time travel aus, specifically time loops.
• what if?—what if someone made a different decision? what if something went differently in canon? what if someone died? or if someone survived? what if we didn't have that last shitty season? what if the movie didn't end the way it did? what if the writing was actually good and remembered it established X for character Y?

SMUT LIKES

I prefer terminology such as "clit, cock, cunt, dick" and don't mind "pussy".

I do enjoy fail sex, sex where people stumble, sex where people might not be as confident as they think they will be, someone comes too early, and sex that pans out as expected from start to finish. Sex that shows connection and vulnerability is always a big bonus.

Women taking charge is A+, but I also love seeing men who may be a little on the insecure side being encouraged to take the lead. (And sometimes seeing confident men play the dominant role but it turns out that the woman being the bottom is really a bottom who tops is A+ in my books.)

✓ KINKS
• age difference (i.e. 16 yo with a 21 yo; 24 yo with a 45yo. 15 and younger is a no go).
• anal.
• banter.
• begging.
• biting.
• body worship.
• breathplay.
• clothed sex (also one person clothed, other person naked).
• consensual sex.
• deepthroating (consensual + communication a must).
• dubcon (consensual to an extent, some communication involved; it doesn't have to be agreed upon by both parties and the communication can be dodgy, but the other person consents to getting down and dirty in some way).
• edging.
• facials.
• fingering (anal, vaginal).
• hair pulling.
• handholding.
• handjobs.
• inexperience.
• light bondage.
• light dom/sub (I prefer the mental side of this i.e. giving up your need to control and trusting your partner to not lead you astray or misuse your trust aspect of this kink).
• non-penetrative sex.
• oral (blowjob/ cunnilingus).
• orgasm control/ denial.
• overstimulation.
• pegging.
• power imbalance.
• public sex (secret/ semi-public).
• rimming.
• roleplay (doctor/nurse, teacher/student (high school or college), cheerleader/football captain, superhero/supervillain, superhero/civilian, dressing up as established characters i.e. Batman/Catwoman, etc.).
• rough sex.
• scissoring.
• somnophilia.
• spanking.
• spitroast.
• threesomes (m/f/m, f/f/f, f/m/f).
• virginity loss.

ART LIKES

If you choose to make me art, thank you! I love looking at art made by fan artists in particular. We have some incredibly amazing artists in fandom (like yourself!) that I'm always in awe of. I'm not an artist, so I'm not entirely comfortable creating a list of DNWs for art when I won't know what I'm talking about. I'm hoping that my prompts will give you some inspiration nonetheless!

SOME GENERAL THINGS I LIKE:
• bright colours (yellow, red, purple, blue in particular).
• bold colours.
• greyscale.
• greyscale with a colour or two.
• character-centric pieces that express emotion and capture something about the character.
• physical contact between characters.
• impactful angles, i.e. you want to show a character being isolated by using the background or lack of background to showcase it.
• clothes/ jewellery, particularly outfits and jewellery established in canon (I will include links to clothing pieces for inspiration underneath each prompt).
• magic.
• animals.
• tarot cards.
• watercolour.
• painting.
• pencil/ ink sketching (kind of like the art in newspapers or the last few pages of a comic book where they've done the storyboarding).
• simplistic backgrounds unless a busy background attributes to the storytelling.

If your style isn't captured in anything I've listed above, please apply these likes as they apply to your style.

As corny as it sounds, as long as you have fun with it, I'm going to love it!

I have also included some prompts under each ship so you have some ideas to bounce off of! I've also included some things I love about the characters or fandom that hopefully might inspire you as well. Please don't feel pressured to include everything that I've prompted or linked as inspiration. I have no idea how to prompt art, so I wanted to give you everything possible. Please take what you like and leave the rest behind.

If you're like me and find inspiration from gifs, I reblog all of the characters I've requested on my Tumblr ([tumblr.com profile] finnicks ) and use their names for tags.

GENERAL DISLIKES

GENERAL DNWS

• a/b/o.
• animal abuse.
• bigotry.
• character bashing.
• domestic violence.
• misogyny.
• mundane aus such as coffee shop, high school, no superpowers for superpowered canon, characters are famous musicians/ actors, etc.
• politics as a primary focus.
• pov—first or second person (unless it's requested Joe Goldberg).
• racism.
• readerfic.
• religion as a primary focus.
• setting aus such as everyone's now in space, canon is now set in the medieval times, etc. (please ignore only in the circumstances where I explicitly request it).
• songfic.
• terminal illnesses and mentions of COVID (unless they are established in canon).
• unrequested changes to a canon character's sexuality/gender
• unrequested genderswaps.
• worldbuilding as a primary focus.

SMUT DNWS

• a/b/o.
• baby kink.
• body horror.
• breeding.

• felching.
• figging.
• foot fetish.

SIX OF CROWS (BOOKS)

SHIPS:
• Kaz Brekker/Inej Ghafa.
• Matthias Helvar/Nina Zenik.

DNWS:
• Matthias's fate.
• Ignoring Kaz and Inej's traumas re: touch and sex. (I would appreciate that Inej's own trauma doesn't take a backburner to Kaz's.)

CANON TL;DR:
Oh, man. I enjoyed this book so freaking much. The characters are fantastic, the world is rich, and the pacing of the story is great. The one thing I find unbelievable is that these characters are under 20 years old (they all act like they're over 20).

• I am currently reading Crooked Kingdom. Please feel free to set anything during and post the book. I'll be done with it by the time the collection opens.

• I do love the actors who have been cast as the characters for Shadow and Bone, but, hey, all good with art not looking like the actors at all! (I figured I'd state this in case it gives you some inspiration.)

Characters I love and wouldn't mind seeing involved in the story (only if including them fits): Jesper, Wylan, Pekka, Zoya.

KAZ/INEJ

KAZ/INEJ TL;DR:
I really, really love Kaz simping and pining for Inej. I love his POV chapters so much because Inej is always on his brain—and why wouldn't she be? She's amazing! I love how he pushes her away and how he tries to put distance between them because Kaz can't do intimacy in any form that it comes in. But I love that he's ride or die for her and will do absolutely anything for her.

AND HE WANTS TO TOUCH HER. UGH. WHAT A SIMP. WHIPPED DIRTYHANDS.

What I love about Inej is not only is she a WOC, she's given personality, a character arc, her own issues, and she's beloved by a canonical white man. (As a WOC, it's so great to see someone who looks like me be represented in such a fantastic and fully fleshed way and to be seen as a love interest rather than a mere caricature.) I love seeing Inej's strengths and her vulnerabilities, and I love, love, love how she refuses to compromise on what she wants, even if it means losing Kaz.

They work together so well. Not only are they professionally so well-tuned, I think Inej understands that Kaz has a phobia of touching and she never forces the issue. She never tries to find out his secrets. She leave sit alone and lets him come to her in his won time. There's a level of respect between them that I love, even if Kaz can sometimes be an asshole. Inej understands Kaz on such an intimate level, even without knowing his full story. I love that Inej is his right hand woman and that he tells her things that he doesn't share with anyone else. Their level of trust with one another is superb and so fantastic, and they're definitely what OTPs are made of.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Post-SOC heist: On the ship, Kaz tends to Inej's burned feet to make sure that they're healing. He also just wants an excuse to talk to her.
• Inej and Kaz write to one another while she's pirating.
• Kaz comes along on a pirating adventure and…
— Gets tossed overboard and is triggered.
— Struggles with not having the power.
— Is super turned on by Pirate King Captain Inej.
• Meeting Inej's parents.
• Remembering Jordie. Does he have a grave? Does Kaz have a tradition on his birthday or death anniversary? Does he ever go to the docks where he last saw Jordie?
• Nightmares.
• Inej is triggered.
— During consensual touching and/or sex with Kaz.
— Someone else touches her.
• Kaz is jealous over romantic attention Inej is receiving. Perhaps she's performing her acrobats in front of an audience. (I just want jealous Kaz.)
• Inej performing; Kaz watching on.
• Walking in the snow.
• Holding hands.
• On a pirate ship.
• At Jordie's grave.

MATTHIAS/NINA

MATTHIAS/NINA TL;DR:
Ugh. THESE TWO. They are so useless together! I love how they're an enemies to lovers trope. I love how Matthias has damned everything he knows to be with Nina and I love that Nina, who can absolutely kill this man, doesn't. I loved their scenes in the whale huts. I loved their angst. I love how Matthias is all grizzly on the outside but simps hard for Nina on the inside. They're absolutely perfect together and I love how complimentary they are despite being polar opposites.

I love that Nina talks and is vulgar and owns her confidence. She's sexually confident and shows it, and I love how she refuses to allow anyone to shame her for it. I love how she's sassy and I love how she always has something smart to say. She definitely keeps people at a difference as emotional vulnerability doesn't seem to be a thing she particularly favours. I also love her Grisha ability and the fact that she tries to use facets of it to help others even if she's not skilled in it.

Matthias is such a softie. "My ghost won't associate with your ghost." Nina's always on the brain. I love how he's this reluctant Crow, but he never, ever betrays them, even when he should. He's got a heart of gold, even if he's misguided by how he was raised.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• More whale hunting huts. Just give me more body heat.
• First time having sex.
• Matthias wrote letters to Nina while he was in Hellgate.
• Nina gets kidnapped and Matthias doesn't keep his cool at all.
• They're somewhere that's populated by Fjerdans and Matthias does his best to protect Nina.
• Nina struggles with withdrawal from Juda Parem. Matthias does his best to try and help her.
• Nina's pregnant.
• Height difference.
• In the snow.
• In front of a fire.
• Nina's in Matthias' furs to seduce him.

HARRY POTTER (BOOKS/MOVIES)

SHIPS:
• Draco Malfoy/Hermione Granger.
• Tom Riddle/Hermione Granger.
• Blaise Zabini/Hermione Granger.
• Regulus Black/Hermione Granger.
• Regulus Black and Sirius Black.

DNWS:
• Ron Weasley bashing.

CANON TL;DR:
This is such an old fandom for me. I wanted to request these ships out of nostalgia (it's been literal years since I've read anything from these ships!) and to get some more juicy character exploration.

What I love about Harry Potter (in particular the books) is the incredible world that the characters live in and all the elements of war. I feel like we don't get to see a lot of the characters who inhibit this world (solely because they don't interact with Harry as much as others). I particularly love the characters who are a lot older and exist from a different era to Harry (Tom and Regulus are so fascinating to me) and the characters who exist in the more "modern" era are fascinating simply because of how they've chosen to survive.

——————

DRACO/HERMIONE

DRACO/HERMIONE TL;DR:
ENEMIES TO LOVERS TROPE. Draco is a shithead and he's absolutely horrible to Hermione, and what I really wish we got to see in canon was Draco realising that maybe he was a real shithead to people who didn't deserve it. His character growth is fantastic—he learns that being his father's son isn't all its cracked up to be—and learns that he doesn't like being a pawn very much. I think he's a fascinating character, especially given how he was stuck between a rock and a hard place, and how he changed and showed vulnerability as he grew older.

Hermione is definitely the one person who can put Draco in his place without it seeming like she has to be his hall monitor. She knows who she is (despite her insecurities) and she knows who she is not. I love that she is unafraid to stand up to a Malfoy and that she is so intellectually smarter and emotionally more mature than him. She's definitely a great match for Draco simply because he would have to work to earn her trust, her respect, and she wouldn't allow him to cut any corners.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• I do love the idea of Hermione not being white.
• The aftermath of Hermione being tortured. Does Draco tag along with Harry and Hermione out of Malfory Manor? Does he track Hermione down once Voldemort has been put down? How is Hermione coping? How does she feel with being permanently branded?
• Finishing Seventh Year after the War.
• Draco wants to make up for what his family did to Hermione during the War, so he befriends her and ends up falling for her.
• They attend a support group for the War.
• Hermione tutors Draco.
• Holding hands—or shyly almost touching hands.
• Draco carrying Hermione's massive book load.

——————

TOM/HERMIONE

TOM/HERMIONE TL;DR:
This is my guilty pleasure ship. Hermione would intellectually draw Tom's attention and I fully believe that Hermione would be curious by his intelligence. I know it's super fucked up, which is why I like it so much.

What I like about a young Tom Riddle is that he's arrogant and his intelligent and cunning. I love that he has a pet snake in the basement of Hogwarts. I love that he always seems a step ahead and can think on his feet. I love the idea that he can be so charming he can gather a group of supporters, but perhaps he's emotionally immature and incapable of processing empathy. He's this strong figure who is so powerful, but he can't seem to understand human relationships.

What I love about Hermione in this situation is that you get to see her in a more cunning and manipulative light. I love a manipulative Hermione! I love it when she isn't kind, when she has an ulterior motive, and when she has the upper-hand that gets snatched from her a few times. I think Hermione is a smart woman who would be able to go toe to toe with Tom.

I love the whole forbiddeness of it and how it's just fucked.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Hermione's thrown back in time and ends up either in Tom's Seventh Year or post-Hogwarts.
• Letter writing.
• Empathy bond.
• Soulmates.
• Working together on a potion.
• Height difference.
• Hermione with a badger and Tom with a snake.

——————

BLAISE/HERMIONE

BLAISE/HERMIONE TL;DR:
This ship takes me back! I kind of love the idea of Blaise being this blank slate of a character who can embody the traits of a Slytherin. I love the idea of him as this sophisticated young man who is cunning and intelligent and incredibly charismatic and charming. (I also love the idea of him being a man of colour.)

Again, Hermione with Blaise is such an unknown. I guess I like it because it's so different to Draco and Hermione—while Blaise is definitely of the hivemind while in Hogwarts, Blaise doesn't have the baggage that Draco has with the Golden Trio. There's less resentment to unpack there and more opportunities for healthy growth to happen.

Basically: if you want to write me Blaise/Hermione, go wherever your heart takes you.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Finishing Seventh Year of Hogwarts.
• Post Hogwarts.
— Are they professional colleagues?
— Does Hermione just keep running into him?
• Blaise decides to charm Hermione and she simply keeps laughing and thinking it's a joke.
• Blaise and Hermione write to one another post-Hogwarts.
• They meet again at a bookshop.

DCEU (MOVIES)

SHIPS:
• Steve Trevor/Diana Prince.
• Bruce Wayne/Diana Prince.

DNWS:
• Steve inhabiting anyone's body like he did in WW84.

STEVE/DIANA

STEVE/DIANA TL;DR:
I love these two so much. Not only do Chris and Gal have such great chemistry, I really enjoy the way they play off of one another and establish such love and affection in a short amount of time.

I love how Steve is the first person aside from Antiope Diana loses. I love that he takes her under his wing, that he admires her and never, ever hinders her. I love that he eventually realises that she's a woman who will not be bound by any patriarchal rules, and that Diana does whatever Diana wants. He believes in her more than she believes in herself.

I particularly loved them in WW84 for how Steve merely fell into a supportive role and didn't try and hinder Diana at all. He knows her capabilities, he knows her strengths, and he also knows her weaknesses. (I am a sucker for their goodbye scene.)

I love that Diana gets to experience something she's never experienced before with Steve. She opens up. She lives. She loves. She gets the chance to understand what it's like to live in Man's World and some of the beautiful things through it via him.

I love how she never let him go. Diana has never had the chance to lose anyone since Antiope, and I like how Diana doesn't know how to grieve. I love how she remembers Steve and I love how she never lets his memory and sacrifice die in vain.

I know WW84 was… questionable, but I really enjoyed the character dynamics and the wish concept even if it was poorly executed. I'd appreciate if we rewrite/ simplify Steve's resurrection since the whole bodyjack was very yikes. I'm cool with magic bringing him back (ala wish) or no explanation at all if it's not important to the story.

I do prefer the Wonder Woman movies over the ensemble movies (and Snydercut, which was just Too Damn Long) but I enjoy the relationships that were established in the ensemble films. Feel free to set fics at any time, even if it's a murky future. I'm honestly not married to any point in canon.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Steve comes back once again.
• Although Diana renounces her wish, Steve, who thinks he's disappearing, doesn't actually go anywhere at all.
• Greek Gods involved.
• Steve haunts Diana.
• Diana writes letters to Steve.
• Hades and Persephone concept.
• Diana uses the Flash to find an alternate timeline where Steve is alive. Is he married to her? Is he happy? Are they together?
• Moments in Veld: Them in the snow, by candlelight, by a fire, dancing, in the dark.
• Steve beside Wonder Woman looking proud.
• Holding hands.
• Steve bringing Diana flowers.
• Steve scrapbooking all the newspaper articles about Wonder Woman's exploits.

——————

BRUCE/DIANA

BRUCE/DIANA TL;DR:
I love their chemistry in the films. Bruce definitely seems like the type to simp and worship Diana (as he should) and Diana seems like the type to be entertained and humoured by Bruce. I love that she has this dominant energy around him and that Bruce seems like a young boy who just wants to please the very pretty girl.

I love their banter and wit, and I like how Bruce tries to charm her and Diana has nothing of it. Their chemistry is just so mature and electric imo. I think they can exist in the same room and not overpower one another. Bruce understands loss in a way Diana is still learning to, and I think that these two can emotionally connect over that.

I think Bruce can learn a lot from Diana with regards to enjoying life. And I think Diana can learn a lot from Bruce where her grief and loss doesn't have to anchor her down (something that we all know Bruce does not understand himself).

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Bruce creates some armour for Diana.
• Bruce finds another photograph for Diana—perhaps it's the first ever newspaper article about Wonder Woman.
• Diana tries to ask Bruce out, but he doesn't understand it's for a date.
• Bruce ends up hurt.
• Diana ends up hurt.
• Bruce appreciates Diana in Asteria's golden armour.
• Bruce tries to flirt.
• Alfred tries to set them up.
• Quiet moments on rooftops.

MARVEL CINEMATIC UNIVERSE (MOVIES/TV)

PLEASE NOTE THAT THIS SECTION OF MY LETTER CONTAINS SPOILERS FOR NO WAY HOME. I have placed these sections at the end of my letter. If you want to write me Peter/MJ without No Way Home's influence, please go here.

SHIPS:
• Bucky Barnes/Natasha Romanoff
• Pietro Maximoff/Wanda Maximoff
• Yelena Belova/Kate Bishop
• Peter Parker/Michelle Jones
• Peter Parker 3 & Michelle Jones
• Peter Parker 1/Peter Parker 2/Peter Parker 3/Michelle Jones

DNWS:
• Noooooone.

CANON TL;DR:
I'm not a comic book reader (yet); however, please feel free to add in any comic book influences!

Entries in the MCU that I enjoy the most: Infinity War, Civil War, The Winter Soldier, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Homecoming, Far From Home, No Way Home, Black Widow, WandaVision, and Hawkeye.

What I like about the MCU movies is the teamwork and characters. I'm not the biggest fan of the big ensemble films. What I loved about Infinity War was how the situation grew more and more intense and everyone had to band together to work together to try and save the world.

I enjoyed the individual movie entries a lot because the storylines felt a lot tighter and simpler. I liked that you saw a character grow, whereas I feel like the ensemble movies justifiably don't have that room to allow characters to develop greatly.

Characters I love and wouldn't mind seeing involved in the story (only if including them fits): Yelena, Steve, Sam, Scott, Tony, Happy, Aunt May, Ned, Vulture, Tommy, Billy, Monica, and Jimmy.

Ships I'd love to see as background (only if including them fits): Happy/May, Yelena & Natasha, Sarah & Sam, Scott & Cassie, Ned & Peter, Tony & Peter, Steve & Bucky, Steve & Natasha, Sam & Bucky, Sam & Natasha.

——————

BUCKY/NATASHA

BUCKY/NATASHA TL;DR:
There were so many missed opportunities between Natasha and Bucky.

I particularly love their Red Room connection and history in the comics and am more than happy to have that exist in anything you create!

I love that Natasha has someone who she can love and call home and who gets that she's someone who doesn't open up easily. I feel like Natasha is someone who could give Bucky the space to learn who he is and not push him into being someone else—or someone else again. They can trauma bond, but I feel like, most importantly, they just Get one another.

They understand one another. They know what it's like to be used as objects and as instruments of destruction and mayhem. Natasha would understand what it's like not to know yourself, and I think Bucky would understand more than anything what it's like to feel like you have so much red on your hands you can't wash it off.

I think that they'd have great banter together. Natasha's dry wit with Bucky's fun ribbing would be a great fit. I think she'd make him blush a lot, but he'd definitely make her blush with his well-intentioned compliments and even his own gentle jesting.

Please feel free to add in any comic book history and influences. I'd love it if Natasha calls Bucky "James" and Bucky calls her "Natalia" (only if it suits the story!). Please feel free to dig into their respective PTSD if you so wish!

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Their time in the Red Room.
• Undercover as a married couple.
• Natasha comes to Louisiana and joins Sam in his attempts to try and get Bucky on the dating scene. She's all gung-ho for it until she realises that she doesn't like the idea of him being romantically involved with anyone.
• One of them is suffering from forced amnesia and forgets the other.
• Natasha cuts Bucky's hair.
• Natasha appreciates Bucky's metal arm.
• Bucky helps Natasha break some of the Widow networks.
• Natasha wants to track down Yelena. Bucky helps her. Road trip!
• Natasha comes back from the dead.
— Bucky brings her back with the Soul Stone or one of the other stones—your pick.
— Natasha makes a deal with the Soul Stone and resurrects herself. At what cost?
• Bucky braids her hair.
• Rebecca meets Natasha. Did Bucky talk a lot about her? Does she grill her?
• Bucky meets Alexei, Melina and Yelena. How disastrously does this go?
• Aesthetically—and shallowly—I like Bucky with his short hair (and in his dumb blue shirt) and Natasha with her Black Widow hair. I loved that it was long and a vibrant red. (I also love the significance of the braids—her braids became more pronounced as she became more in touch and comfortable with her family.)
• ALPINE AND LIHO.
• Domestic Bucky and Natasha.

PIETRO/WANDA

PIETRO/WANDA TL;DR:
These prompts are for AOU and WandaVision Pietros. Feel free to do any Pietro your heart fancies!

Wanda and Pietro are such an interesting dynamic that I wish were explored more in the MCU. I love the overprotective older brother and the spitfire and overprotective younger sister. I love that they are each other's person. I love that you can't have one without the other—and that when you do, the entire world is unbalanced because of it.

I'm happy for Pietro to have been brought back from his death or be a figment of Wanda's imagination. I'm happy for him to still have died and come back in some way—or for any fic to exist before his ridiculous death in AOU. I wish we got more of these two—they're each other's person, Wanda joined Hydra because of Pietro, and no one can convince me that Wanda didn't give Pietro his powers.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Fietro turns out to be her Pietro, but with some of his memories missing. How does Wanda cope with this news?
• Does Wanda try and confront Pietro after she blasts him at the Halloween festivities?
• How does Wanda deal with Pietro arriving at her doorstep?
• Missing scenes we didn't get to see. What's on the cutting room floor? Did Fietro say anything else that raised a big question mark? (I absolutely loved him in 1x06 and his vibe.)
• Wanda tries to bring her Pietro back using Fietro.
• If you want to make Fietro Peter from XMU like we all thought he was, please go for it!
• Pietro and Wanda in their Halloween costumes. (I'm obsessed.)
• Pietro haunts Wanda.
— In her dreams.
— As a ghost.
— As her guilt.
• Their life in Sokovia before the Avengers come into town. What was it like?
• Their time during HYDRA.
• First time having sex.
• Wanda doesn't like that Pietro is always so overprotective and smothering. She doesn't understand why when he gives Gertie dresses. Despite being a telepath, she can't read his thoughts when it comes to her.
• Pietro steals Wanda a dress.
• Wanda steals Pietro something. Does she get caught? Does she get injured?
• One of them is injured, so the other looks after them.
• Holding hands.
— Pietro is a ghost; Wanda is alive.
— In the Soul Stone.
• Pietro gazing in awe of Wanda in her Scarlet Witch outfit.
• Wanda looks I love:
— I know he's here.
— OG Scarlet Witch outfit (this is my favourite look in the entire series).
— Literally the cutest Scarlet Witch.

YELENA/KATE

YELENA/KATE TL;DR:
I fell hard and fast for these two. I love their physical chemistry and the way that they easily play off of one another. I love the idea of Yelena being this cool girl who walks into Kate's life and disrupts it and Kate absolutely loves it. Kate seems to be the type who would find Yelena fascinating and see the good, human bits in her, who wouldn't look at her and see a killer or a girl worth pitying. I think she would want to strive to be like Yelena—strong, impenetrable—and do everything she can to impress her.

I love the idea of Yelena learning all she can about Kate to try and intimidate her, but she ends up liking her for the person that she is. Yelena got to be fun and quirky and sarcastic with Kate in a way that really made her spark and come to life. I love that she respects Kate as a person and as a hero, and that she doesn't once hurt her.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• With Lucky.
— Walking him.
— Christmas.
— Celebrating Valentine's.
• Yelena braiding Kate's hair.
• Kate trying to braid Yelena's hair.
• Celebrating Christmas.
• Kate likes Yelena and wants to romance her… but every time she does, it goes wrong.
• Kate thinks Yelena is hitting on her (she is).
• Nightmares.
• Yelena teaches Kate self-defence.
• Kate teaches Yelena how to use a bow and arrow.

PETER/MICHELLE

THERE ARE NO NO WAY HOME SPOILERS IN THIS SECTION.

PETER/MICHELLE TL;DR:
I love these two so much. I like that Michelle watches Peter and observes his characteristics and knows when he's not okay. I feel like that's such a great attribute for her because Peter shields himself from even himself. Having someone call him out for hiding would challenge him to grow and become more confident in his skin.

I love how Peter gives Michelle the kindness that she seems to lack in her home life. I like the canon idea of the deleted scenes where her parents aren't as close to her and she's often left by herself. Peter and May welcoming her in open arms would be such a nice and healthy change for Michelle, and I feel like Peter being accepting of her and not judging her for her home life would be so powerful for her.

I like that they banter, that they are so shy and tentative with one another. They make a great team. Michelle wouldn't only encourage him to be Spider-Man and to remember that he is a good person with good intentions, but she'd remind Peter that he's more than Spider-Man. Just like Peter would remind Michelle that she's more than she thinks she is.

I think Far From Home had a better idea of who Michelle was. She had more depth and a little more to her other than quirky cool girl with books like she was portrayed in Homecoming.

I'm happy if you want to call her MJ Watson.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• When MJ and Peter return from their school trip, what happens when May and Peter take MJ home because her mother didn't show up?
• What happens right after the showdown with Mysterio? Does MJ take care of a beaten up Peter?
• In college. How does Peter go about being Peter Parker and Spider-Man while on a college campus? How does MJ cope?
• If you want to bring in Gwen Stacy for some tension and jealousy, go for it!
• When Peter's sick—or thrown into space for some mission—MJ dons the Spider-Woman suit Peter had created for her for Halloween. How does Peter react to her trying to pick up his mantel?
• One of them is thrown into the future where it's revealed that they're married with kids. What do they do when they're stuck in their future body?
• Peter struggles in the aftermath of Thanos (he never did get to process battling the Mad Titan) and Stark's death. MJ helps him.
• MJ wants to get a job at the Daily Bugle, so Spider-Man helps her with a series of exclusive interviews.
• MJ reports on Spider-Man's happenings.

THERE ARE NO WAY HOME SPOILERS FROM THIS POINT ONWARDS.

NO WAY HOME TL;DR:
What I loved about this movie was seeing a mature representation of MJ and Peter. I love that they communicated! I love that they supported one another! I love that MJ does not abandon Peter even when he's been exposed to the world. I love that she does not once guilt him for her loss of opportunity in getting into a tertiary school. I love, love, love how good they are together.

I love that Peter tries to take care of MJ and wants the best for her. I think he really grows up with her. She's supportive of him and he can be himself, wholly and completely with her.

I find it so devastating that he chooses to honour MJ's happiness over his promise to remind her of their life together and their relationship at the end of the film. It's so painfully Peter. She finally gets this chance of happiness and of safety and he knows that she wouldn't choose it over knowing him, so he makes the hard decision and makes that choice for them both.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• MJ comforts Peter after Aunt May's death.
— At her funeral.
— In Happy's apartment.
• Peter confesses to MJ that he did the spell because he felt awful that knowing he was Spider-Man ruined her chances at getting into college. How does she respond?
• Peter writes MJ letters and never sends them.
• MJ becomes suspicious of Spider-Man and Peter.
• MJ makes a coffee for Spider-Man.
• Peter and MJ at the bakery, bonding over hot coffees.
• Peter gives MJ a Christmas present.
• MJ REMEMBERS.

PETER 3 & MICHELLE

PETER 3 & MICHELLE TL;DR:
I love Andrew's Peter because he's so lanky and gawky and such a nerd, and I love the hysterical energy he brought to this movie. The fact that he was okay with her throwing bread rolls at him was so good. I love how he went with the punches and that he really gelled with Peter 1's MJ.

But the scene that gets me most is when MJ's falling from the tower. He's clearly triggered, his grief feels fresh once more, and I absolutely love how MJ just rolls with it and doesn't bring attention to the fact that he's crying. She comforts him in her own way while obviously processing the fact she almost died.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Peter 3 saying goodbye to MJ.
• Peter 3 and MJ discuss why he was so emotional about catching her.
• Peter 1 disappears into the multiverse. Peter 3 comforts MJ.
• Lanky Peter 3 holding MJ's hand.
• MJ holding Peter 3 as he cries about Gwen.
• When Peter 3 goes back to his Earth, MJ accidentally comes with him.

PETER/PETER/PETER/MICHELLE

PETERx3/MICHELLE TL;DR:
I am just fascinated by the dynamics and chemistry between all the Peters (who are at different points in their lives) and MJ. You have Peter 1, who is her Peter, who is so mature yet still so young. Then you have Peter 2, who is so mature, a little jaded, and very, very calm. He's seen it all. He's experienced it all. And then you have Peter 3 who is just a mess of emotion and is so jaded and upset and doesn't think kindly of himself at all. I loved their banter and the possibilities of Peter/MJ OTP being something that exists even when all of them are in one room together.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Smut lmfao.
— What if the only way to go back home is to bang?
• MJ learns about MJ in Peter 2's world, and talks to Peter 1 about her. Does he think she doesn't compare? Does he want someone who is less her?
• MJ comforts Peter 3.
• Team work makes the dream work.
• Being science nerds.
• All at Aunt May's funeral.
• Peters 2 and 3 talk to MJ about their respective relationships and give her hope and some confidence in her relationship with Peter 1.
• After Peter 1's decision not to tell MJ who he is, Peter 2 and 3 come back and decide to meddle and reunite them.

GILMORE GIRLS (TV)

SHIPS:
• Jess Mariano/Rory Gilmore.
• Jess Mariano & Paris Geller.

DNWS:
• Revival being canon.

• Bashing Logan Huntzberger. (He grew on me like gangrene and he's another one I ship Rory with.)

• Bashing Rory. Her character kind of takes a nose dive in the later seasons and the town paints her as perfect, but I love a flawed depiction of a human being that isn't dragging her.

• Jess' long hair (season 4 and Revival). I love his fluffy season 3 hair. I'm shallow.

CANON TL;DR:
I've always enjoyed Gilmore Girls for the close-knit community and the town that seemed to live on top of one another. I loved the quippy dialogue, the quick back and forth, and the way that relationships could be shown in the dialogue alone.

I do love seasons 2-3 the most, with season 6 coming in close behind (solely for Jess' appearance… and I did enjoy Logan growing as a person, even though he got a lot of development in the later seasons). I loved the basket auction, the 24-hour dance, dying Lane's hair as an act of rebellion, all the damn books, and the tension between Rory and Jess at the beginning of season 3 (that could've been solved if someone had just opened their mouth and spoke).

Characters I love and wouldn't mind seeing involved in the story (only if including them fits): Paris, Lane, Mrs Kim, Dave, Luke, Ms Patty, Babette, Taylor, Kirk, Lorelai, Sookie, Michel, and Jackson. I'm okay if Logan's involved, but I don't want him being put down by Jess' presence. You can go to town in deconstructing Dean and his tendencies to live in the 1950s patriarchy (what was that episode in season 1 when Rory felt pressured to dress up and act like a Stepford?).

Ships I'd love to see as background (only if including them fits): Luke/Lorelai, Dave/Lane, Paris/Doyle, Paris/Happiness, Mrs Kim/Not Being A Stereotype, Jackson/Sookie, Morey/Babette, Michel/Being A Sassy Bitch, Kirk/Lulu, Kirk/A Thousand Jobs, Taylor/Being OTT, Lane & Rory, Paris & Rory, Lane & Jess, Dave & Jess.

JESS/RORY

JESS/RORY TL;DR:
I have always loved Literati. I love their banter and their easy chemistry. Jess challenges Rory to step out of her comfort zone and consider being Rory for Rory, not the Rory Lorelai wants or the town expects. They compliment each other in so many ways. They can have dorky intelligent conversations, nerd out over books, have deep emotional conversations (which I wish we got more of throughout the season), and can relax around one another.

Jess was a good boyfriend to Rory, even though we never got to see it. We got told about it in dialogue, though! He saves up all his money to take her out. He always makes time for her even when he's run out of it. Jess' issue in season 3 was he wasn't emotionally ready to be in a relationship yet. Their timing was always off.

I love that Rory can let her hair down and be someone who isn't perfect. Jess encourages her to be a flawed person. He encourages her to take what she wants and to go for it, and he's the only person who seems to get Rory the most. Everyone treated Rory with kid gloves when she dropped out of Yale and spiralled, but Jess was the only one who called her out on her shit and asked her "Who are you?"

Rory does become someone who I feel is a caricature of herself. I loved that she was always so unapologetically nerdy and smart, and also very, very naive. I liked that she was learning who she was, what that means to her, and how she was trying to find out who she was outside of Lorelai's shadow. I actually did like Mitchum Huntzberger criticising Rory in the later seasons and saying she didn't have what it took to be a journalist because it really showed that Rory had been wrapped in a safe bubble for her entire life. She still hadn't learned how to take criticism and either take it on board and grow or shrug it off. Jess is so the opposite of that—and I feel like it was a missed opportunity that Rory never leaned on him for support on how to grow thicker skin.

At the end, Jess did kind of deserve better than how Rory treated him. But I think that they are perfect for one another. They always come back to each other. I think it's pretty poignant that they never slept together—they always had such an intimate relationship on so many other levels.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• When Jess sets out to destroy the Gilmores’ competing snowmen, Rory sneaks out of the Independence Inn and helps him.
• After Jess leaves Stars Hollow, they keep in touch via letters. Perhaps Jess starts it.
• Years after Jess leaves, Rory decides that she's going to go on a little Pray, Love, Eat trip… in California. Not because that's where she knew Jess was last… just, you know… because.
• There's another basket auction. This time, the women get to bid on the baskets.
• When Rory skips school to travel to New York, what happens if she misses her bus and stays?
• After Rory visits Jess in New York, she makes a habit of going back.
• Rory goes to one of his book signings.
• When Jess and Rory reconnect years later, Jess is in a relationship with someone else. Give me jealousy!!!!
• Rory rejects Logan's proposal because she wants to find herself. What if finding herself leads her straight back to Jess?
• Jess tries to propose to Rory, but it keeps going absolutely wrong. Bonus points if the people of Stars Hollow keep trying to help him finally put a ring on it.
• And they were roommates.
• What if when Mitchum Huntzberger criticises Rory, she…
— doesn't go and steal a boat, but impulsively leaves Connecticut and finds herself at Jess' door?
— steals a boat and impulsively leaves Connecticut and finds herself at Jess' door?
• Jess comes to Richard Gilmore's funeral.
• Unexpected pregnancy (not Revival style).
• Peak Jess hair.

JESS & PARIS

JESS & PARIS TL;DR:
We could've had this friendship of beautiful snark and banter. I love their chemistry together, their wit and intelligence. (I personally think that if Jess/Rory didn't take off, Jess/Paris would make the most sense.)

I like that Jess doesn't make fun of Paris' intensity. He accepts her for who she is and easily banters with her. While Paris definitely judges Jess for how he presents himself, I can see her having a begrudging respect for him because of his wit and intelligence and how he is so confidently himself and true to who he believes he is.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Paris supports Jess at a book reading/signing.
• Paris and Jess end up studying together.
• Paris in New York.
• Writing letters.
• Paris wants Jess to read and review her essays.
• Paris and Jess at Jess/Rory wedding.

SHADOW AND BONE (TV)

SHIPS:
• Kaz Brekker/Inej Ghafa.
• Matthias Helvar/Nina Zenik.

DNWS:
• Ignoring Kaz and Inej's traumas re: touch and sex. (I would appreciate that Inej's own trauma doesn't take a backburner to Kaz's.)

CANON TL;DR:
I really enjoyed the Crows the most in the show. They have such a great bond and dynamic, and I really found all of their scenes compelling. I enjoyed the look of the world, the richness in the clothing, the way the Grisha moved their hands, and Kaz in his hats and Jesper with his goat. They were all perfectly cast and I really cannot wait for the next season.

• Please feel free to blend the show and the book together in whatever way works for you. I do find the books provide great background that the show is currently lacking with season 1.

——————

KAZ/INEJ

KAZ/INEJ TL;DR:
These two have such great chemistry on screen. I love that you get a really good idea of Kaz's intense respect and admiration for Inej. I love how he's always looking at her like he wants to touch her; I love that he's always positioned near her. The fact that Kaz put the Crow Club on the line for Inej's freedom is PURE LOVE. PURE ROMANCE. I love that he doesn't communicate at all and that results in a lot of his own interpersonal problems. He's a great thinker, but he sucks socially and I love his ineptitude. Kaz's quietness says a lot about him as a character and I love that's where his power lies.

Inej. INEJ INEJ INEJ. I love that she is a WOC and I love that she has the most beautiful long hair. She's such a complex and interesting character, and I feel she goes toe to toe with Kaz quite easily despite him holding all of the cards. I love her background and her potential, and I really hope the show explores her history as being trafficked.

I really like how Inej calls Kaz out on his bullshit and how she sacrifices herself for him at times. I also like how she doesn't sacrifice herself for Kaz. She can't go back to Ketterdam. She can't go back and be a part of the Menagerie again, even if it means that she can't go back with Kaz. She's such an interesting woman and I love that she holds her own with her knives and is so self-sufficient.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Holding hands.
• Inej's wound opens up again. She either stitches it or Kaz helps her.
• Inej is injured and…
— Kaz doesn't have his gloves, so he has to touch her skin.
— Kaz has his gloves, but they're getting in the way, so he takes them off so he can help Inej.

I really love their physicality as well. He's this big bulk of a man and she's a curvy woman who is barely comes up to his shoulder. HEIGHT DIFFERENCE, MAN.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• More whale hunting huts. Just give me more body heat.
• First time having sex.
• Nina sees Matthias in Hellgate or on his trip to Hellgate.
• Nina tries to get Matthias out from his sentence. How does she do this? Does she Heartrender everyone to do her bidding? Does she manipulate? Can they be wed and his potential crime will be deemed null and void?
• What if Nina ended up getting Matthias out of his prison transportation? What's their life like on the run?
• They're somewhere that's populated by Fjerdans and Matthias does his best to protect Nina.
• Nina's pregnant.
• Height difference.
• In the snow.
• In front of a fire.
• Nina's in Matthias' furs to seduce him.

THE VAMPIRE DIARIES (TV)

SHIPS:
• Stefan Salvatore/Katherine Pierce
• Elijah Mikaelson/Katherine Pierce
• Caroline Forbes/Katherine Pierce
• Elena Gilbert/Katherine Pierce
• Elena Gilbert & Katherine Pierce
• Caroline Forbes/Elena Gilbert
• Bonnie Bennett/Caroline Forbes/Elena Gilbert
• Elena Gilbert/Klaus Mikaelson
• Bonnie Bennet/Kai Parker
• Elena Gilbert/Jeremy Gilbert

DNWS:
• Bashing Katherine Pierce. Katherine is my favourite character and canon already takes many potshots at her. I'm open to character studies digging deep into her character motivations and characters being distrusting of her due to her previous actions, but I'd prefer to steer clear of misogynistic language and degrading her as a person. (Again... canon already does that.)

• Elena/Damon romance being reciprocated. I prefer it when Damon is "in love" with Elena and Elena isn't in love with Damon.

• Katherine and Elena pretending to be sisters.

• Katherine being mistaken for Elena or pretending to be her. Visa versa with Elena being mistaken for Katherine or pretending to be her.

• Damon being misogynistic towards Katherine.

• Stefan/Katherine being a prop for Stefan/Elena.

• Klaus/Elena romantic feelings genuinely being reciprocated.

• Season 8 ending, specifically for Katherine and Stefan. Please keep them alive and as vampires (unless requested).

• Heavily focused on Legacies canon. I don't watch this show; I'm happy for things to be set in the future and reference this show, but please don't set it heavily in it as I have no idea who's who in the zoo.

CANON TL;DR:
I love this show in the early years. My favourite seasons are 1, 2 and 6. I love season 1 for the lore and how everyone feels like a character grounded in this small town (and went to school… back when they remembered they went to school). Season 2 is my favourite season amongst them all because they really showed how tightly the writing could be, how immersive this world was (and kind of incestuous, negl), and I loved that characters got to show off their cunning and intelligence. And, most importantly, we got Katherine Pierce! I love season 6 as I felt like the characters weren't total caricatures of themselves, the story was compelling and the lore was being stretched again with prison worlds, and Malachai Parker was in it.

I'm not really a big fan of Elena as a vampire as I felt like she lost a lot of her spark and fire; however, if you want to write about Elena as a vampire, please feel free to do so.

I'm happy to receive any of the below ships for this exchange. Katherine is my favourite character from this show.

To talk a little about the ships I've chosen (get ready, I'm sorry…). Blanket note: I know all of these relationships are toxic and if you want to delve a little into that toxicity without bashing the ships (i.e. portraying one character as undeserving/ the person who is 100% bad guy in it), I'm all for it. I love explorations of how people are so emotionally damaged, but I like it to be a fair criticism that doesn't favour another ship over them and also shows how they can compliment one another as well.

Just an FYI: I don't like Matt Donovan. It is irrational and justified all at once. How did that idiot survive eight years being so dull? #JusticeforVicki

STEFAN/KATHERINE

STEFAN/KATHERINE TL;DR:
Katherine and Stefan are my OTP of the series. I feel like they compliment one another so well.

Katherine finally lowers her walls around Stefan and almost becomes Katerina again. She wants to live, she wants to love. She lets herself be vulnerable with him.

And Stefan seems to blossom with Katherine. He becomes someone who isn't just Giuseppe's favourite son. He becomes a man who loves and wants to be loved and goes after what he wants. I love how she later comes to help him manage his PTSD (even though I do wish that the writers hadn't settled on "Your traumatic experience isn't the reason why you have PTSD, but the fact that this other girl broke up with you is why!" because that's kind of bullshit) and that Stefan comes to see Katherine for who she is—she is a good person who was in a shitty situation and dealt a shitty hand in life, and she made the most of it.

I just think it's so poignant that Stefan treats Katherine like she's a human being after she's spent so long being treated like an object and being disparaged and vilified. Even when she returns in season 2, he talks to her as if she's a person—and also has a go at her like one, too. Where Damon calls her misogynistic names, Stefan's the one who lowers his voice and tries to speak to her human to human. He always sees her for Katerina, not the monster that she tries to hide behind. He sees her when no one else (besides Nadia) has.

I love the power dynamic, the imbalance, the balance, and how Katherine is his sire and is such a pivotal person in his life. I feel like Katherine's appearance in season 2 made Stefan step up his game and we finally got to see a chess player.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Pre-canon, Katherine reached out to Stefan in his dreams,
• Post season 2, Stefan and Katherine run from Klaus.
— Road trip!
— Hiding in another country.
— Taking on other identities.
• They team up to take Klaus down.
• Katherine's the one to save Stefan from the safe. She helps him manage his PTSD (and we disregard the fact that the show wrote his PTSD off as him not being with Elena when he actually had real traumatic shit to deal with). Preference is for Katherine to be a vampire.
• A witch decides to turn them human. They only turn back into being vampires after learning a lesson.
• When Nadia tracks down Katherine, Stefan decides to leave Mystic Falls with them.
• Stefan realises he like-likes Katherine. This might be after she helps him and selflessly puts herself in danger for him. How does he deal with it?
• Stefan's thrown back in time to 1490 and meets Katerina.
• Them in 1864. How did their first kiss go? What happened when they first slept together?

ELIJAH/KATHERINE

ELIJAH/KATHERINE TL;DR:
I love Katherine/Elijah and am always going to be bitter about how the narrative chose to depict the relationship. Elijah was in the wrong for misleading Katherine back in 1492 and he was wrong again for immediately thinking the worst of her in 4x18.

I would love something where he pulls his head out of his ass and chooses himself for once—and that involves choosing Katherine. Both of them have so much trauma that's due to Klaus that never gets unpacked.

I love seeing Elijah raw and not composed, and also someone who is so composed because that's how he copes. I love seeing Elijah be someone who isn't as perfect and in control as he seems. He's a human being at the end of the day.

I love how Katherine is vulnerable with him. He is one of her biggest loves and someone who was so kind to her when she had felt so lost anda alone and abandoned by her own family. I feel like Katherine gave Elijah hope to love again; her romance and her inability to be jaded had opened a fissure in him again, and I feel like he's never been able to let Katherine go.

Bonus points in letting Katherine actually be angry at him for how he's poorly treated her over the centuries.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Writing letters to each other.
• 1492: Elijah chases Katherine.
• Kissing in the rain.
• Elijah buys Katherine a horse.
• Elijah wearing track pants.
• Katherine decides to run. Elijah follows her.
• There's only one bed.
• Working together.
• Elijah gets bitten by a werewolf.
• Katherine is bitten by a werewolf.

CAROLINE/KATHERINE

CAROLINE/KATHERINE TL;DR:
Without Katherine, Caroline wouldn't have had the chance to really grow into the confident abyss deep pool that she is (no kiddie pools here!). I love that Caroline understands this and is even grateful for it, which really shows how twisted this relationship really is.

Despite that, I do think they could be a somewhat healthy dynamic. I enjoyed their dynamic in season 5 (particularly how they worked together to take down a "bad" guy) and the fact that Katherine prefers Caroline out of all of Elena's friends.

Katherine is so confidence and self-possessed while I think that Caroline is very much the opposite. I can see a hero worship from Caroline in a strange way; Katherine is a survivor, she's someone who knows who she is and doesn't need anyone to tell her that. She's everything Caroline wishes to be as a person.

I feel like what we got in the show between these two was only surface level. Caroline has a knack for forgiveness and seeing the best in people, and she would definitely see that in Katherine.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• There's only one bed.
• Caroline asks Katherine to teach her how to be a vampire.
• Caroline helps Katherine try and find her daughter.
• Working together.
• Holding hands.
• Biting.
• Blood drinking.
• One of them is bitten by a werewolf. The other has the antidote.
• Caroline needs a date to a college or work function. She strong-arms Katherine into coming along.

KATHERINE/ELENA + KATHERINE & ELENA

KATHERINE/ELENA + KATHERINE & ELENA TL;DR:
What I love about the doppelgängers is the potential they had in season 2. Elena finally gets to learn about where she comes from! Katherine gets to see that her daughter got to live a life and continue on her family line. There's so much history and family between them that we never get to see the complexities of their relationship.

I really like Katherine's power over Elena and the fact that she holds all the cards, but I also appreciate that Elena is capable of being compassionate towards Katherine and her life despite what Katherine's intentions are towards her. Elena's able to disarm Katherine in a way that the Salvatores can't—in season 2, she's a particularly compassionate person who sees people for who they are rather than the caricatures that they try to appear as.

I would prefer not to see anything about Katherine wanting to be Elena. Her speech in the season 4 finale felt so OOC to me. She doesn't want to be Elena, she wants to be herself—and that's who she has always been fighting for since she was 17 years old.

I do prefer human Elena and her season 2 counterpart the most as I found that she was someone who was both compassionate and selfish, and she had a tenacity for survival that was a softer version of Katherine's. I'd prefer her to stay human unless her vampire self is requested.

I've chosen them as a ship and as a gen relationship. Take what you like from the below prompts for the style of relationship you want to delve into.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Elena doesn't leave Katherine to rot alone in the tomb. She visits her.
— Elena lets her feed off of her.
— Elena asks more questions about her heritage.
— Katherine manipulates Elena's soft heart by telling her the truth of her life.
• Elena helps Katherine track down her lineage—specifically, Nadia.
• When Elena turns into a vampire, it's with Katherine's blood. She's sired to her.
— Does Katherine teach her the ropes? Does she begrudgingly take her under her wing?
— Does Elena track Katherine down and beg her to teach her how to be a vampire?
— What does Katherine know of sire lines?
— Does Katherine tell a sired Elena to go away, which Elena does... to only come back of her own free will?
• When Klaus has Katherine locked in Alaric's apartment, Elena comes to rescue her and get her out.
• When Katherine leaves Mystic Falls, she takes Elena with her. They run from Klaus together.
— Either Katherine willingly takes Elena...
— Or Elena decides that she wants to go with Katherine.
• Elena is thrown back in time and meets Katerina.
• I love Elena's straight hair in comparison to Katherine's wild and thick curls. Elena in her Converse shoes, one-colour shirts, and straight hair is always such a nice contrast against Katherine's chic attire and heels.

CAROLINE/ELENA

CAROLINE/ELENA TL;DR:
I love their friendship and the jealousies that oftentimes kept them apart. Although Caroline and Elena weren't as close, I really do like that Elena comes to Caroline's defence after she's been newly turned and that Caroline tries to be empathetic towards Elena's grief. Caroline's jealousy over Elena is delicious, and I love that, despite being described as compassionate, Elena doesn't quite see nor understand her friend's pain.

I do prefer Human!Elena and Vampire!Caroline for the human/vampire dynamic.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• There's only one bed.
• Holding hands.
• Biting.
• Blood drinking.
• Going to college.
• Elena's severely hurt.
• Studying.
• Caroline doesn't think Elena like-likes her, but Elena does and tries to show her in her own way.

BONNIE/CAROLINE/ELENA

BONNIE/CAROLINE/ELENA TL;DR:
We deserved this threesome.

I love the different dynamics in this relationship set—Bonnie and Elena are close, Bonnie and Caroline are close, and what divides Elena and Caroline is jealousy and a lack of understanding. But with that said, Caroline doesn't understand Bonnie while Bonnie doesn't trust Caroline to be emotionally vulnerable with. I love the complexities and how all three of them together are a well-oiled unit.

The relationship was really at its best in seasons 1 and 2 and I'd love for that dynamic to be captured.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• There's only one bed.
• Holding hands.
• Caroline and Elena help Bonnie study magic.
— Is there a spell that requires physical touch? Intimacy?
• One of the girls is insecure about having sex. The other two try and build her confidence.
• Going away to Elena's family cabin for the weekend.
• Skinny dipping.
• Blood drinking.

KLAUS/ELENA

KLAUS/ELENA TL;DR:
I know this relationship is all kinds of fucked up, which is why I like it a lot. Klaus is definitely the big powerhouse physically between them, but I think that Elena gives as good as she gets and can emotionally manipulate Klaus as she is quite compassionate (in the early seasons, at least).

What I love about them is how fucked up it is. He tried to kill her—and successfully did so—and took her family away from her by murdering Jenna. He wanted to kill her best friend, uproot her entire life in Mystic Falls, and use her as a blood bag. How I read Elena's character at times is that she is a martyr, as established in the show, but she's also someone who has suicidal tendencies. Why else would she try and go toe to toe with powerful vampires when she's a human who could be snapped in half like a twig in just a few seconds? Elena likes the rush, the adrenaline, the danger.

What I'd love to see if them having to work together, even growing dangerously codependent on each other. He needs her to create hybrids and Elena needs him to punish herself for surviving her parents' fatal car crash.

I'd like to opt out of this being a genuine reciprocal of romantic feelings. I don't believe Klaus is capable of loving anyone outside of himself, and his love is toxic and dangerous and shows itself in the form of possessiveness with his family. I don't believe Elena would ever genuinely love Klaus, but I'm happy for Stockholm Syndrome to be explored.

I do have a preference for Elena being human and their dynamic in seasons 1-3.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Klaus kidnaps Elena. This can be set in early season 1, early season 2, or after he kills her.
— Does he "kidnap" her by one day asking if she'd ever leave Mystic Falls, and then taking that upon himself as her consent for him to 'nap her a few weeks later?
— Does he kidnap her so that he can use her blood to create hybrids?
— Does he kidnap her because he wants to bury her in the Lafayette Cemetery in New Orleans to ensure no vampire can dig her up?
— Does he kidnap her just because he's a dick?
• Elena's thrown back in time and meets a younger Niklaus. This can be in the Viking era or the 1400s. (This can have some genuine romantic feelings, although I do want Elena to remember who he is and to be apprehensive about reciprocating.)
• When Klaus creates his hybrids, Elena can control them.
• Little Red Riding Hood retelling based in canon.
— Elena goes into the woods to write in her diary (because why not?) and Klaus comes to her as a wolf. She slowly begins to realise this protector of hers is the very man who was set on destroying her.
• I'm all good with Wolf!Klaus and Elena—smut, no smut, I don't care.

KAI/BONNIE

KAI/BONNIE TL;DR:
Even though Kai stabbed her a few times and was a massive dick, I love the chemistry between Bonnie and Kai. They have really great banter. I genuinely think Kai has a crush on Bonnie, but because he's Kai and he didn't exactly grow up in a healthy household, he thinks the equivalent to liking her is pulling on her pigtails. I love their bickering and how he gets under her skin. She has nice palms! I feel like there was a lot of potential between them—Bonnie could've learned more about magic and Kai could've learned a lot more about control and love. Bonnie could handle Kai's quips and immaturity, and I do feel like Kai wanted to impress Bonnie when he wasn't trying to outmanoeuvre her and Damon.

I think Kai is someone who was dealt an unfortunate hand in life. His family didn't care for him outside of his powers. All he ever wanted was to feel like he belonged and was accepted, but instead of treated as an outcast and a disgrace. I think Kai is a complex character, and I appreciate that he uses humour and sarcasm to deflect his feelings and to relate to people. I really find his sociopathic tendencies interesting and would love to delve deeper into that considering he does have a capacity for learning how to express human emotion… kind of.

Bonnie is a queen and someone who I think the show just did not respect at all. I love her for her loyalty, her confidence, her tenacity and refusal to ever give up. She has such a big heart and such a big brain, too. She's the fixer of the show, and I really want her to step outside of the role of being the bandaid and the repairer and have her experience being the centre of attention and being wanted and chased. She deserves so much respect.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• They don't escape the 1994 prison world.
• Kai realises he likes Bonnie, so he tries to woo her. Every attempt goes disastrously wrong because he's Kai.
• Kai insists that he can change, so he does his best to try and be good. Perhaps he keeps a tally akin to The Good Place tally board.
• They practice magic. Despite not being able to generate his own magic, Kai has a lot of knowledge on spells. Kai teaches Bonnie.
• Kai wants to learn how to control his siphoning so Bonnie offers to help.
• One of them is thrown into the future where it's revealed that they're married and has to interact with this alternate version of the other.
• Kai tries to apologise to Bonnie for shooting her with a crossbow. His attempts to apologise go utterly wrong.
• Bonnie's with another guy. Kai, wanting to show that he is absolutely cool with it, is not cool with it.
• Kai tries to go to college. Bonnie has a migraine from Kai going to college.
• And they were roommates.
• Kai with pork rinds.
• Kai tries to resurrect Bonnie's father.
• Bonnie with her naturally curly hair.

JEREMY/ELENA

JEREMY/ELENA TL;DR:
Elena looking out for Jeremy back in seasons 1-2 was my shit and I really wish that their relationship had grown in a stronger, more healthy direction than what it did in the show. Jeremy being a little shit, Elena trying to mother and suffocate him… I really loved that dynamic and wish that it was explored a lot more. They only have each other in the end. Jeremy resents Elena for taking his choices away. Elena only wants to protect him and keep him safe. Jeremy wants to keep Elena safe, but in his own way—something I feel we never got to really see explored.

I'm all for Jeremy acting out against potential feelings for Elena and even acting out to get her attention. This one might be underage, which is fine with me, but if you'd prefer to age them up, I'm okay with this being set in college era or even as adults.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Holding hands.
• Kissing.
• Elena teaches Jeremy
— how to kiss.
— how to go down on a girl.
— how to fuck.
• Studying.
• Graduation.
• Skinny dipping at the lake.
• There was only one bed.
• Sharing body heat.
• Elena is wounded.

THE WITCHER (TV)

SHIPS:
• Geralt of Rivia/Yennefer of Vengerberg.
• Jaskier/Yennefer of Vengerberg.

DNWS:
• Background Geralt/Jaskier.

CANON TL;DR:
Season 1 of this show is so utterly confusing, but it made me fall in love with Yennefer of Vengerberg. I particularly enjoy episode 1x06 from this season. I absolutely love season 2 for its linear narrative and for the exploration of character. I really wish we got to see more of Yennefer as a sorceress, but I loved seeing her struggle, her going dark, and her understanding her mistakes and owning them. I loved seeing Geralt as a father figure and being gentler, and I loved seeing what little of Jaskier we got of him being his usual ridiculous self. (I was very surprised to come out enjoying Jaskier and Yennefer and their friendship and budding relationship.)

I primarily love the character relationships over anything worldbuilding or political. I love seeing them thrust into strange and difficult situations, and seeing them struggle and thrive and break. This world is dark, but these characters are bright lights despite that.

I don't play the games, so I would appreciate no game lore being introduced. I have been reading the books—I've read The Last Wish and Time of Contempt—and don't mind book lore being introduced to flesh out the show.

GERALT/YENNEFER

GERALT/YENNEFER TL;DR:
Hm.

I love the physical chemistry between Geralt and Yennefer and how they soften one another. I love how in tune they are to one another, how they compliment one another, and how Geralt understands Yennefer saying she fantasises about him being beheaded is her way of saying she loves him.

He gets her in a way that not many people do. I think Geralt sees the survivor in Yennefer that many ignore. Yennefer inspires Geralt to be vulnerable, to want something and someone for himself, and see himself as someone who can be desired and have desires. I just wish these two idiots would get their shit together!

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Yennefer's vision of being married to Geralt and pregnant.
• Geralt and Yennefer speak about her sacrifice.
• Geralt takes care of an injured Yennefer.
• Geralt tells Yennefer he was heartbroken at the idea of her death.
• Training Ciri in combat and magic.
• Quiet evenings sitting together.
• Roach.
• Geralt teaches Yennefer how to fight with a sword.
• They get married—except, you know, Geralt doesn't ask. Yennefer demands it.
• Yennefer's teal eyeshadow.

JASKIER/YENNEFER

JASKIER/YENNEFER TL;DR:
I honestly did not expect to come away from season 2 loving Jaskier and Yennefer and shipping them. I love their wit and banter and insults displaying their affection for one another. I love that Jaskier allows Yennefer to be vulnerable and doesn't make fun of her for her struggles, but he also doesn't change who he is to her to make her feel awkward. I love that Yennefer came back for Jaskier and risked her life for him. What I love most is that Jaskier was the one to make sure Yennefer was okay after he events of 2x08. They are such a lively dynamic that really has a complex layer to them, and I love that these two can convey so much while insulting one another.

PROMPTS:
Please use these for both fic and art.
• Post 2x08: Jaskier looks after Yennefer.
• Yennefer heals Jaskier's hands.
• Yennefer gets Jaskier a lute.
• He writes her a song fitting for a she-demon.
• Cutting Jaskier's hair.

Thank you in advance and have fun writing/creating! ♥
