Two pieces of art based off these prompts:

WHERE DO I EVEN BEGIN? There are two pieces of art included at this link, and I absolutely love the emotion expressed in both pieces. The movement of hair, of clothing, the physical touch shared between characters… My favourite piece is the dead character is resurrected fill. I can just feel the adoration and love between Wanda and Pietro, and I personally love the details of the characters' design, postures, and expressions. (Honestly, they are so inspiring my brain just wants to know more about their stories.)

Lyanna and Rhaegar in the winter.

Lyanna and Rhaegar can be such a polarising ship in fandom, but this piece of art captures everything I love about their potential and how a portion of fandom interprets their relationship. You can feel their love and adoration for one another. I personally think the piece has more than meets the eye to it.

It seems only fair for Wanda to take Vision from time.

This is so bittersweet. It breaks your heart and puts it back together again. It's such a beautiful and quiet look at Vision and Wanda and Wanda taking back what was hers for the first time. While it's heartbreaking, it's filled with so much hope—and so, so much love.

"I cannot say I miss you. You are in my heart, always. There is no absence to speak of on my end."—If this line doesn't make you want to read it, I might need to throw you into a Hex.

It was 1994. Natasha was ten years old. Yelena was five. It was a different time back then, when kids were allowed to bike or run around their neighborhood and no one would worry about someone stealing them away.
But Natasha knew better. And why would Melina and Alexei worry, anyway? They didn’t have to worry about the monsters that crept through the night. They were the monsters.

I loved this haunting look into the Widow family. Even though they had easily slotted themselves into normal, mundane suburban life, they still maintain their (literal) killer edge. This was such a great look into who they were pre-returning to the Red Room, and it's something I wish we got to see more in the film.

All I can say is that I swear this author is a writer on the show. The humour, the dynamics, the quick wit… It's perfect and a must-read for Bob's Burger fans.

This is so stunning and warm. The colours are so earthy and witch-like, and the detail of the cat is amazing. You really get a story out of all the visual elements.

Sydney and Sark are partnered together for missions while he is working for SD-6.

I recently found this fic while I was in my resurgence of loving Sarkney. I think it's written so well—the characters are witty and snarky, and the interesting dynamic of Sark and Sydney is captured so perfectly. I really, really enjoyed this and wish the author had written even more Sarkney than what they have.

These were not technically written for me, but I claimed them as part of an exchange's rules and I will now rec them.

The Valentina voice is so fucking good: manipulative, cunning, airy-fairy… It's so delicious and I love how Sharon is so out of her depth. The chemistry established between these two is also so believable.

Five firsts.

Although this is only 500 words, it works so perfectly for displaying the complex dynamic between Gamora and Nebula. It digs into Nebula's insecurities thanks to Thanos' abuse and his favouritism of Gamora, and Gamora's desire to protect Nebula. Even though it has an incestual element to it, it's still a great piece for the sisters if you're more interested in the gen side.

Harry, still searching for a gift, said, "I don't know what you mean."
"If I didn't know better, I'd think you fancied her." Ron picked up some ink and added it to his pile. "As we all know better, what I'm going to say instead is: if you don't want to be arrested by a fellow auror, you should probably stop staring at her like you're going to murder her."
Harry experienced a sinking feeling in his stomach to accompany the chest monster currently clamoring for him to drag Pansy out of the shop and—something. Something terrible that he didn't actually want at all when he let his brain do the thinking. Did he—did he want to kiss her? Maybe Ron didn't know better. Maybe—
"I think I fancy Pansy Parkinson," Harry said.

This is so good. I haven't read H/Hr in a long time and this author captures Harry's genuine idioticness and obliviousness and has a pitch-perfect Ron, Hermione, and Pansy. I laughed aloud (an uncommon thing for me!) and absolutely adored the dynamics and rhythm of the story.

When I prompted for Wanda/Vision set in the What If…? universe, I never, ever thought I would receive something like this. It's a fantastic filling in the blank of the missing origin story for Wanda and Vision. It's filled with the usual Avenger arrogance then heartbreak, denial, love, and loss. It's such an amazing story and the author has done such an incredible job in telling it via drabble series.

Such a sweet look into Sarah and Bucky's life together. It's so sweetly domestic and free of a lot of the burdens I think both of these two carries.

This was such a great look into Louise and Tina's relationship. Louise is still so stubborn and proud, but Tina is so gentle and big sisterly.

In the aftermath of Earth-38's Lex Luthor visiting their farm, Clark and Lois discuss his decision to remove his powers and whether or not he should sit out the upcoming battle or suit up and try to save the world again.

If you knew me when Crisis on Infinite Earths aired, you'll know that I absolutely died when Smallville's Clark and Lois cameo'd in the series. This is a great expansion on what happened next. I personally found it so unbelievable that Beefcake Clark wouldn't have been more curious and concerned about stranger dangers appearing on his farm speaking about the world's ending being imminent, and this is a fantastic fix-it that dives into Clark's feelings post-Lex Luthor 2.0., the reasons why he would've given up his powers, and Lois Lane being goddamn Lois Lane and knowing what's up with Clark before he even knows it.

Clark helps Lois study and it turns into something more.

Set in season 4, this is a really nice missing scene-esque moment of Lois and Clark getting together a lot earlier than they do in canon. The banter is spot on—Clark's impatience with Lois is perfect and Lois' impatience with studying is even more pitch-perfect—and the chemistry is so palpable. It captures everything I love about Smallville's iteration of Clois: banter, some childishness, obliviousness, and someone calling the other person out.

I'll have to do a separate rec list for all the fanvids I absolutely adore. There's so many and this rec list is already so long.
