355. TRIPLE CROWN 2024 RAFFLE PRIZE OFFERING.

Hi! This is my offering post for [community profile] triplecrownofexchanges' fourth round raffle (2024).

OFFER DETAILS.

Number of possible winners: 2x Triple Crown winners, 1x Pinch Hitter.

  • One 5-card reading, with 3 cards coming from one of my tarot decks, 1 card coming from an oracle deck, and 1 card coming from my affirmations deck.

  • The 5-card reading will be answering one question, with me reading the cards together rather than separately.

  • The recipient can select the tarot and oracle decks used (one tarot deck and one oracle deck per reading). I only have one affirmation deck. I'm happy to choose the decks if preferred.

  • If you don't want the affirmation deck, then I will throw in another oracle card to ensure it's a 5-card reading.

  • I prefer to do readings that are on the theme of self-care/personal development/focus solely on the recipient.

  • I can do the reading via email, Discord, or create a Dreamwidth post in my journal for the recipient. I will provide a photograph of the pulled cards and an in-depth analysis. (I tend to tl;dr.)

  • No romantic readings, no health-related readings, no financial readings, and no readings about a specific person.

  • This is for entertainment.

    TAROT DECKS.

[ Sorry for the glare, I did my best! ]

These are the decks I'm happy to do a reading with.

    A few notes -
  • I do not do reversals for all my decks. I've noted below which ones I naturally do reversals for and ones I'm happy to shuffle reversals into.

  • Buffy: This is the deck I use the most and shuffle in reversals for. [ REVERSALS INCLUDED. ]

  • Cats Rule the Earth: This deck is exactly what you'd expect: it's all about cats, and features cats on every card. [ I CAN DO REVERSALS FOR THIS. ]

  • Dark Wood Tarot: I like to use this deck for shadow work readings, particularly when I use a self-care spread. As the card stock is thinner and gloss, I find the deck shifts when I shuffle and I often find the cards tend to flip over and give me reversals. [ REVERSALS INCLUDED. ]

  • DC: The Minor Arcana cards are pip cards, which means you won't see any characters depicting those archetypes (not sure what I'm referring to? The Two of Cups, for example, will not feature a character). (The Major Arcana is great!) [ NO REVERSALS. ]

  • Disney Villains: These are great and have some pip in them, but ultimately the minor arcana have villainous characters. [ I CAN DO REVERSALS FOR THIS. ]

  • The Tarot of the Divine: This is my fairytale deck! The designs are based on fairytales and deities from all over the world. [ I CAN DO REVERSALS FOR THIS. ]

  • ORACLE DECKS + AFFIRMATION DECK.

Seasons of the Witch decks —
  • Imbolc (spring)
  • Yule (winter solstice)
  • Mabon (autumn)
  • Litha (summer solstice)

  • A few notes —
  • You can select either a Seasons of the Witch deck or the Green Witch Oracle deck.

  • If you do not want an affirmation card, I will use a Seasons of the Witch (your choice) if you haven't already selected one or the Green Witch Oracle to supplement it. I'd like to avoid pairing Seasons of the Witch with Seasons of the Witch as they tend to be the same in theme, and the Green Witch Oracle gives you something a little different!

  • QUESTIONS I LIKE TO ASK AND HOW I USE MY DECKS.

The questions I like to ask are for 3-card spreads, using the tarot deck as the main deck answering the question and placed in specific positions if the question consists of positioning. I use the oracle card as an additional card that often identifies an overall theme/message for the 3-card tarot spread and adds a positive message to the reading, with the affirmation card as an extra card that I find adds encouragement/a positive, encouraging reminder.

"Positioning" refers to questions with designations, such as 1) Situation 2) Obstacle 3) Advice. Each card sits in a position, and is read in that context. For questions that don't have positioning, I read all cards separate and then tie the messaging together based on similar themes, colours, items, numbers, and anything else that stands out to me.

    Questions -
  • What should I focus on?

  • What do I need to know?

  • 1) Situation 2) Obstacle 3) Action/Advice

  • 1) Daily theme 2) What I should focus on 3) Energy to embody

  • 1) What is on offer? 2) What is the barrier to acceptance? 3) What if I accept?

  • [ SHADOW WORK/SELF-CARE AND ONE OF MY FAVES ] 1) What to love about myself 2) Where I can be patient/kind with myself 3) What energy should I draw on?

  • Open-ended questions are best to ask.
