I like works of all ratings—Gen to Explicit. (Explicit doesn't need to be for explicit smut.)
I'm open to any length of work—just a little over the minimum to three times over the minimum. Write the length that best suits the story you want to tell.
Have fun with the POV! I'd love to receive second or third person for fic. I have a preference for third person limited. I'm not a big fan of first person outside of epistolary sections (unless it's Joe Goldberg).
If something in my letter sparks an idea (as long as it's not a DNW), please go for it. If I don't want something for a specific canon that's in my letter, I will say so in my sign up as part of the canon DNWs.
I'd love to receive unconventional works in and outside of unconventional works exchanges. If you'd like to incorporate that, I love in-universe documents that fit the canon setting such as mission reports, character profiles, news articles, social media, letters, diary entries, journal entries, character sketch books, etc.
Canon divergences that have a foot in canon.
Requested alternate universes:
Character studies. Deep dives into characters psyches. What makes a character tick? Unpacking their trauma. Letting them cope realistically to a situation rather than have it brushed under the rug.
Cheating/ infidelity where the cheating happens between the two characters requested.
Complicated relationships. Enemies to lovers. Enemies to friends to lovers. Friends to lovers. Enemy lovers.
Coping with trauma. Exploration of trauma. Recovery from trauma. Healthy and/or unhealthy coping mechanisms.
Emotional and physical vulnerability and intimacy. Consent when touching.
Epistolary. Letter writing (sent and unsent). Diary entries, journal entries, articles written by journalistic characters. Emails—funny subject lines, funny email addresses, not using the work email for only non-personal things. Revealing feelings. Hiding angst. Detailing trauma. Using writing as a way to cope with trauma. Passive aggressively leaving notes. Leaving notes because we keep missing one another. Post its.
Established relationships like friendships, romantic relationships, sexual relationships between the requested characters. I also love budding relationships and ones where they like one another but are too scared and/or stupid to act on it or they believe the other person so doesn't like them.
Fake dating. Fake marriage.
First time having sex, dating, kissing.
Gen relationships such as found family, blood family, friendships.
Happy/ hopeful ending.
Humour. Banter. Snark.
Hurt/comfort.
Miscommunication. Characters speaking around what they mean. Words having double meanings. Characters misinterpret one another due to their own insecurities or personal baggage. One character is too blunt or the other one tries to beat around the bush which leads to misunderstandings.
Casefic. Mission fic. Picking up an artefact. Robbing someone. Ocean's 11 kind of heist. The Mummy-type object hunting and curse activating. (I do not need the focus to be on the mission but if you like writing that, go for it!)
Pining. A pines for B who has no idea. A pines for B and B pines for A. I prefer it to be resolved by the end of the fic, but also love the journey and tropes it encourages.
Female pregnancy, including abortion (chosen by the character, not forced upon them) and miscarriage as long as it's dealt with sensitively. Women who long for pregnancy, women who don't wish to be pregnant. Discomfort in pregnancy. Enjoying it.
Road trips. Sleeping in the car together. Stopping at motels and hotels. Travelling with no destination in mind.
Sharing a bed. Cuddling for warmth. The bed's only suited for one person. Comforting during nightmares. Someone sleeps naked. Sharing body heat.
Slow burn UST.
Smut. Explicit smut. Non-explicit smut. Focusing on the sex itself. Focusing on character emotions and intimacy. Even when it's dubcon/noncon, I love seeing the focus on character emotions and connections/disconnections.
I love drabbles (100, 200, 300 words) and drabble series and sequences. I'm happy for any series/sequences to be all of one length (i.e. made up only of 100 words) or of varying lengths (i.e. one drabble is 100 words, the next 200, the following 100, etc.)
I love character studies that delve deep into a facet of the character, whether it's purely introspection or dialogue-focused.
I like all ratings for drabbles.
Terminology etc.
Age difference (i.e. 16yo with 21yo; 23yo with 45yo; etc.). The youngest age is 16.
Anal, female receiving (except when a male is being pegged). Anal fingering, anal penetration.
Barebacking. Condoms.
Bathing.
Begging.
Biting.
Bloodplay with vampires. Menstrual sex (doesn't have to be with vampires). Blood drinking with vampires. Using blood as lube with vampires. If characters are beaten up, having sex covered in blood.
Body worship.
Breast worship. Tit fucking.
Choking—consensual or dubiously consensual. Can include choking while giving a blowjob.
Clothed sex. One person clothed, the other person naked. Both clothed. Half-clothed. Costume kink, uniform kink. Lingerie. Using ties for binds. Scarves for blindfolds. Using silks for teasing.
Cockwarming—anal, vagina, mouth.
Come as lube. Facials. Coming in pants. Coming on someone. Creampie.
Consent. Seeking consent during a scene. Consent kink. Consent being the focus between characters who have trauma from nonconsensual acts.
Dirty talk.
Dubious consent. Someone in power manipulating the other person into saying yes. Someone's emotionally distraught. Misleading someone without correcting them on the truth.
Edging.
Emotionally charged sex. Gimme those emotions.mp3, Mariah!
Fail sex where people stumble. Someone comes too early. The woman can't come from penetration. Someone isn't as confident as they wish to be and it results in poor dirty talk.
Gaping (from anal/vaginal penetration).
Hair pulling during sex. Playing with hair.
Hands. Holding hands, kissing fingers. Gentle hands, rough hands. Big hands, small hands. Rough fingers.
Inexperienced partner with experienced parter. Experienced woman with inexperienced woman. Experienced woman with inexperienced man. Experienced man with inexperienced woman. Virginity loss, although I'd prefer that virginity isn't seen as a defining character trait of a character unless it's set in a dubcon situation where it's used to manipulate or goad the inexperienced partner on.
Light bondage: blindfolds, collars, handcuffed to bed or piece of furniture, tied up.
Light dom/sub. Getting off on power and control rather than pleasure. Also: getting off on pleasing one another. I love dom/sub where a character takes on the dominant role and tries to help their partner get out of their head. I prefer the mental side of this with a heavy focus on a character who either is intense about control or often gives their control to others and needing to trust your partner. "Sir" and "Ma'am", even status titles i.e. "king", "queen", "princess", "prince", "captain", etc. for characters with those titles.
Masturbation. Mutual masturbation. Instructing someone on getting off. Masturbating together. Trying to get someone off through masturbation. Showing someone how to masturbate.
Manhandling. Roughly moving partner around. Throwing them (not violently) against a wall, over a table, onto the bed, pushing them down.
Non-penetrative sex. Dry humping, frottage, grinding, coming in pants. Pillow humping. Grinding on thighs. Handjobs. Scissoring.
Oral sex: Blowjobs, cunnilingus, deepthroating (consensual and dubiously consensual), face fucking (consensual and dubiously consensual).
Orgasm control and denial. Multiple orgasms. Coming over and over. Magically inclined to keep coming. Exhaustion and soreness from coming. You don't need to portray this with 100% realism.
Overstimulation. Clit sensitivity. Nipple sensitivity. Cock sensitivity.
Pegging. Woman pegging man. Woman pegging other woman—anal or vaginal.
Penetration. Vaginal penetration. Anal penetration. Penetration in two holes. Double penetration in one hole. Double penetration in two holes. Triple penetration. Object penetration.
Power imbalance.
Pregnancy sex. Risk of pregnancy. Belly kink associated with pregnant belly.
Public sex or semi-public sex. Fingering under the table. Giving head underneath the table. Fucking in alleyways or back of shops. Car sex including giving head and fingering.
Roleplay: power imbalance scenarios, pretending situations are dubiously consensual, playing out fantasies, etc.
Rough sex. Hair pulling, biting, eager sex. Fighting/sparring as foreplay.
Sex in places such as shower, car, classroom. Against walls, chair sex, table sex.
Sex pollen! Losing control of themselves due to desire. Being overcome with the need to fuck. One character is hit with a huge dose of it and the other one is unaffected. Unable to experience any relief from the need to fuck until they've come. Unable to come until partner has come and perhaps partner doesn't orgasm easily. Unable to break the pollen until a specific sex act has been performed. Characters are so consumed with the idea they need to fuck even though the pollen's a lite version. Pollen wears off when the partner's come multiple times. Or characters believe it's sex pollen but really they're just finally giving into being horny fuckers.
Size differences. Strength differences. Height differences. Big cocks, large breasts.
Somnophilia. Consensual somnophilia. Dubiously consensual somnophilia. Woken up via oral sex or being fucked. Pretending to be asleep while partner fucks them. Sex while half-asleep.
Spanking. Spanking with hand. Spanking with an object. Bent over a table, bent over a knee. Spanking for punishment.
Tenderness during sex. Hand holding. Kissing. Kissing cunt/cock.
Threesomes and moresomes. Gangbang (preference is woman in the centre). Spitroasting. Sloppy seconds (preference is woman being in this role).
Vocal sex. Unable to stay quiet. One person wants to try and stay quiet while the other disregards that and wants them to be loud.
Voyeurism. Inviting someone to watch. A third party watches on and instructs. Cuckolding.
Women taking charge. Men being dominant. Women topping from the bottom, especially women who aren't as sexually confident.
Emotional manipulation, psychological manipulation. Manipulative characters getting to actually be manipulative without being watered down.
Kidnapping. Gaslighting. Stockholm Syndrome. I love the focus on the psychological toll of being in a strange place with someone and trying to outwit them more than the actual act of kidnapping.
Stockholm Syndrome caused by manipulation, kidnapping, isolating character.
Mind control performed by characters capable of magic.
Tapping into a character's more darker tendencies.
Using sex as a bargaining chip. Character feels as though they owe their captor sex. Captor not dissuading victim from not bargaining with sex. Sex to save someone's life, even if that life isn't actually in danger.
Aggressive sex followed by aftercare.
Anal penetration as an act of dominance.
Blackmail into sex. Agree to have sex to protect another character. Agree to have sex to prove obedience. Huddling for warmth turns into dubious consensual sex.
Forced to beg for orgasm. Forced or tricked into threesome/moresome (preference is woman).
Forced to kneel. Forced into position to give easier access.
Being mind controlled, struggling with the ramifications of mind control. False memories. Character A mind controls Character B into believing that they are Character C who they would consensually have sex with. Amnesia and someone taking advantage of the memory gaps.
Under-negotiated kink. Non-negotiated kink (as long as it's not a DNW). Penetration in the wrong hole. Agree to oral but penetration still happens.
Surprise penetration during frottage. Just the tip but cock or object fully inserted.
Sex magic. Cursed to want cock or cunt. Cursed with constant need for sex. Obedience curses.
Sex rituals. Needing to have sex to create or break a curse. Whether the curse actually exists is up to you.
Setting changes that fit in with canon world (i.e. fundamentals of canon are not changed drastically): Auctioned to the highest bidder. Subs are assigned to Dom.
Unwilling arousal.
Vampires: Blood drinking, being used as a blood bag. Dubiously consensual or nonconsensual blood drinking. Being covered in blood. Bloodplay. Using blood as lube in lieu of actual arousal.
Bright colours. Bold colours. Soft colours. Bold lines. I like warm colours, cool colours, colours that belong in the same colour palette/tone, colours that clash together.
Greyscale. Grey with a colour or two as an accent.
Black and white. Black and white with a colour as an accent.
Digital art. Charcoal. Ink. Marker. Colour pencils. Pencil/ink sketching. Painting. Watercolour.
Comics.
Character portrait.
Tarot cards.
Gen content. Sexual content.
Animals: Cats, dogs, horses, dragons, butterflies, lions, tigers, birds.
First person POV unless it's requested Joe Goldberg or epistolary. I'd like to avoid receiving it as the primary narrative POV.
Detailed animal abuse or cruelty. Passing references are fine; I'd prefer it not be the entire story concept.
AUs such as:
Character bashing wherein the focus on a particular character is only extremely negative, i.e. they're consistently put down for the sake of advancing the requested relationship with it made very clear that they have no redeeming qualities whatsoever. I'm happy for character studies on these characters and for negative traits and decisions to be mentioned/discussed and those be the reasons why a relationship breakdown happens (some people do make shitty decisions, after all!), but I'd prefer that they be nuanced and fair and not be passionate putdowns. (For instance, if X lies to Requested Character and Requested Character feels they can never trust them again, that's fine!)
Deathfic where a requested character dies and it's an unhappy ending. I'm okay with secondary characters dying. I'm okay with a requested character who has died being dead and exploring death as long as they are not killed and have an unhappy ending in the fic. (Exploring purgatory/what comes after death is fine.) I'm okay with canonically dead characters being dead as long as the fic isn't killing them.
Extreme underage. I prefer anything that features someone 16 years and older.
References to terminal illnesses and COVID unless it's a part of the canon.
Unrequested genderswaps and sexuality headcanons.
Unrequested ships being the main focus. Acknowledgement of canon ships or past ships is fine. Background ships is A-OK. If the ship isn't one of my requested ships or a canon ship, please don't include it.
SMUT DNWS.
A/B/O.
Daddy/mommy kink.
Mpreg.
Mutilation, vore.
Scat. Vomit.
Tentacles.
Unrequested noncon. Sexual violence, including violent rape.
Watersports or any bathroom play.

- What ifs
- What if someone made a different decision?
- What if this thing in canon didn't happen? (i.e. Character A didn't die. Character B didn't obtain an object and so now there's an opportunity to explore a relationship with Character A. Character C didn't come to town, so Character A and Character B were able to form a relationship. Character A decided to stick with Character B. Character A decided to pursue Character B. Character A and Character B are thrown together in a situation that was avoided in canon.)
- What if X person didn't die? What if one of the requested characters saved the other?

- For smut-centric exchanges, I'm all for PWP where it's a straight-up sex scene or if you want to do some groundwork and give me something that's 1k build-up, go for it. Wherever your smutty heart takes you!

GENERAL DISLIKES
- Unrequested setting changes such as space, regency, and medieval that aren't created from time travelling. If the new setting is treated as always being the canon setting, I'd like to opt-out of it.
- Unrequested changing a character's species.
- Mundane aus such as coffee shop (or any shop), everyone's in high school, everyone is a musician, superpowered characters were never given their superpowers and thus don't exist in a superpower canon.
- Different first-meets.
- Any unrequested AUs. I like my AUs to exist in the canon as we know it.
SMUT DNWS.
NIKOLAI SERIES (BOOKS)
CHARACTERS: Nikolai Lantsov, Zoya Nazyalensky
Ships: Nikolai/Zoya
Canon DNW: Alina/Nikolai as an established couple.
I adore this series. I love Nikolai and Zoya and how they're friends to lovers and colleagues to lovers as well. I love that they're all about duty and understand that they would throw down for Ravka and put themselves last if it meant that their country would have a chance of prospering. They're so compatible despite their differences, and I really love how they respect each other.
Nikolai appreciating Zoya's caustic nature and never pushing her to be someone she's not is wonderful. I love how he gives her space and understands how her showing vulnerability and softness—and sharing things with him—is difficult for her. In turn, I appreciate how she stands up for Nikolai and sees through his charming exterior. She's the one person who I feel doesn't expect Nikolai to be anyone but himself. The fact that she throws the portraiture of his father into the fire to secure his claim to the throne despite it possibly earning her his ire forever really goes to show how much she respects him.
+ I'd love to see something that fills in the blanks of King of Scars. How were the first few days of chaining him him to the bed? Why did he choose Zoya? Did he choose Zoya?
+ We didn't get enough of them pretending to have an affair. Whose idea was it? When did it start? How did they feel about it? What if it continued for a little longer?
+ How was the travel back to Ravka after they defeated Elizaveta? I feel that that was skimmed over and we could've gotten some delicious "there was only one bed… and we shove Yuri in a closet" on the way home.
+ So, dragon aftermath! Does Nikolai help Zoya learn how to transform and fly? How does being a dragon impact Zoya? What are the pros, what are the cons? Give me some Grishavese dragon lore!
+ What was the aftermath of Zoya becoming queen? Let's get into some of the politics and uprisings that were inevitable from her being crowned.
+ Give me more demon! How does it impact Nikolai? I feel like we didn't really get a lot about his experiences with it, despite it being the focus of KoS. Give me some monsters and body horror in regard to monster transformation!
+ With Zoya as queen, she needs a king. Does she entertain the idea of marrying someone who isn't Nikolai? What if one of the other kingdoms (/waves hands as to where this could be) send one of their princes over to woo her? (Yes, I love jealous Nikolai.)
+ I feel like we get the impression Zoya's mother is still alive. How does she react to the news her daughter is queen?
+ I really wish we had more with Magnus Opjer. I felt that we didn't even get him in the books. He was there one moment and gone the next. What if he stuck around? How does his relationship with Nikolai grow?
WINTERNIGHT (SERIES)
Characters: Baba Yaga, Morozko, Vasilia Petrovna
Ships: Morozko/Vasilia
You do not have to include all the characters.
I really enjoyed the rich mythology of the series and how each creature was fleshed out to have a personality and a stake in the world.
I really like how Vasya and Morozko have a clear power imbalance, but that it continuously shifts between them, with Vasya's humanity often overpowering and leading Morozko learning how to be human, and Morozko's supernatural power obviously overpowering Vasya's. I love how Morozko respects Vasya, and how he lets her learn who she is without too much interference. The "Command me then" lives rent free in my head. I know that there's an obvious power play that has existed between them, given that he came to her when she was a little girl, but I like how it's balanced itself out as she's grown into a woman and witch.
I find Baba Yaga super intriguing as a character and feel like we could've gotten more of her backstory and seen more of her relationship with Vasya as it develops in Midnight. I think that there's some opportunity there to flesh her out and bring her into the Winternight world based on her myths. She's a cool lady!
+ Give me magic!
+ What's Baba Yaga's relationship like with Vasya? What's her relationship like with Morozko? How does she feel about Vasya/Morozko?
+ Does Baba Yaga mourn her daughters? What is life like, alone in Midnight?
+ What happens after the series? What adventures do Morozko and Vasya get up to? What other mythological creatures do they happen to stumble upon? How does Morozko exist during summer? How do they feel with Vasya's growing powers? Do they ever talk about immortality?
+ What happens when Vasya dies?
CHALLENGERS (MOVIES)
CHARACTERS: Art Donaldson, Patrick Zweig, Tashi Duncan
Ships: Art/Tashi, Patrick/Tashi, Art/Tashi/Patrick
You do not have to include all the characters. I've mentioned in my sign-up that I'm happy to receive a Tashi-centric and Art/Tashi fic.
DNWs: I'd really appreciate Tashi not being treated like a stepping stone or third wheel for Patrick/Art.
I am obsessed with this movie. I love the codependency between them all as a triangle and as separate lines to each other. I love the toxicity and the healthiness. I love all the dynamics between them all.
I'd love to see the three of them and their push-and-pull. Tashi as the centre makes sense as she's the catalyst for Art and Patrick's self-destructions and rebuilding of each other. How does she manipulate them? How do they try and manipulate each other? I wouldn't mind seeing a messy triangle play out, or them being a throuple post-movie.
I loved the relationship between Tashi and Art in particular and how they seemed to be this healthy yet toxic unit. Tashi living vicariously through Art and him knowing it was so good. I love how he puts her on a pedestal and she sometimes seems to really resent him for it and being what she couldn't be. I feel Art loves Tashi a lot more than she does him, and I find that so intriguing. How does Art idolise Tashi? How does Art not see Tashi for who she is, and how does he see her for who she is?
The relationship between Tashi/Patrick is an interesting one because he seems to understand Tashi's crueller/harsher side, and Patrick doesn't seem like the type who'd ever see himself as anything but Tashi's equal. How is he her equal? How is he not her equal? Does Patrick feel the need to posture because Tashi Duncan knows who she is while Patrick Zweig doesn't? How did their relationship unfold during the early years and eventually self-destruct? Did either of them ever let their guards down? How do they challenge each other and how do they destroy one another? Could their relationship ever be anything that wasn't pure fire?
+ Give me toxic codependency!
+ I'd love to see more re: how Tashi feels being a mother, marrying Art, starting a family with him, how did she determine her skill was only knowing how to hit a ball with a racket, etc.
+ "I've been playing for your number for fifteen years" lives rent-free in my head. How in love with Tashi is Art? How much does he idolise her? Did his idolisation of her only grow over the years?
+ Is Patrick the third wheel?
+ How do things develop during the college years? How does everyone pit each other against the other? I feel like Art trying to pit Patrick and Tashi against each other was brilliant, and I feel like all of them must've played manipulator at some point.
+ What's their relationship with tennis? How do they use it to find meaning and identity?
+ What happens when Art and Patrick finally retire from tennis?
TWISTERS (MOVIES)
CHARACTERS: Kate Carter, Tyler Owens.
Ships: Tyler/Kate
I really love this movie. I love the action/adventure and the natural disaster.
What I liked most about Kate and Tyler was how into her he was from the moment he saw her. His gaze always lingered on her to the point where his own crew noticed it. What was it that made Kate so attractive? When did Tyler figure out/read about Kate and the unfortunate incident of her friends' deaths? I'd love to see the push/pull of their relationship more before they finally get together. How does Tyler try and spend more time with Kate? Does Kate subconsciously try and spend more time with Tyler? I really enjoyed how she was teasing him and trying to encourage him to go to the wrong tornado.
How does Kate cope with her PTSD? I'd love to see that dealt with on a deeper level because surely she'd be freaking out a little more with the twisters coming closer and closer and her having witnessed two of her friends literally die in front of her. Do she and Tyler get close to almost experiencing the same catastrophic repetition of history?
I really like the idea of courting for them, and I'm happy if you want to throw in Javi's crush on Kate as I felt that that was kind of dropped and I love me some tension.
I'd prefer any tornado events be completely fictional and not reference any real-life disasters.
AGATHA ALL ALONG (TV)
CHARACTERS: Agatha Harkness, Rio Vidal.
Ships: Agatha/Rio
You do not have to include all the characters.
This show is honestly so much fun. It's great seeing Agatha not be softened up so that she can fit the perfect protagonist role. I love that we're seeing her for the villain that she is, and that the show is fleshing out her history and characterisation in a delightful way.
I'm very curious about Rio and who she is and who she was to Agatha, and I'd love to see any explorations of her now that we've had it revealed who she is and her potential role in Agatha's past.
I love the witchy aspects of the show and have bee she excited to see magic lore be developed in the MCU.
I'm watching the show as it airs, so feel free to set it anywhere during the series. Feel free to dip into the comics, too!
+ How did Agatha and Rio's rivalry start? Was it a romance gone wrong? Was duty involved? (Did Rio have to come and collect the dead body/soul of someone Agatha loved?) Did Rio betray Agatha? Did Agatha betray Rio?
+ Give me something about Agatha's long life. What was it like growing up in a coven and under the thumb of Evanora Harkness? What circumstances pushed her to seek the Darkhold? How did she survive the Witches' Road before? Does the Witches' Road haunt her?
+ If Rio is Death, are Agatha's kills considered gifts to her?
+ What's Rio's past? Who is Rio? How did she find Agatha in Westview and break into the spell she was under? Why did she want to wake her up? Does she want anything at the end of the Witches' Road?
+ When the coven summoned her, Rio acted like she had walked the Road before. Has she?
+ If you want to write some porn: what about a magic ritual?
+ Agatha makes one final sacrifice to Death: herself.
+ Does Rio try and bring Nicholas Scratch back for Agatha?
+ What is their relationship with mortality and immortality?
SEX EDUCATION (TV)
CHARACTERS: Ruby Matthews, Otis Milburn.
Ships: Otis/Ruby.
DNWs: I am not interested in Otis/Maeve being an established couple, but I'm happy with the idea of them providing an obstacle for Otis/Ruby.
Lowkey bitter about how they did the Ruby/Otis relationship so dirty.
I'd love to see these two come back together. I feel like Ruby really encouraged Otis to be his own person and saw him for who he was and loved him for it despite how he irritated her. I feel like Otis did love Ruby in his own way, and I'd love to see him blossom outside of his infatuation with Maeve. He knows how to make people like Ruby comfortable, and he's a bit emotionally immature despite displaying such maturity in other parts of life. I feel like these two complement each other so well, and it was great seeing them interact in season 4 (and see Ruby choose herself), but… I wish we had gotten so much more. Their dynamic is wonderful!
+ How do they repair their friendship and rekindle their relationship? Does this happen in college? Does it start in college and evolve throughout their lives?
+ What happens if their team-up in season 4 resulted in them coming back together? How does Otis win Ruby back? How does Ruby let Otis in?
+ What about a series of miscommunications and assumptions? Ruby believes Otis is hanging out with her because he's lonely as Maeve is in America. Otis thinks Ruby only wants to speak to him for his campaign.
+ What if they wrote each other a series of letters?
+ Give me some missing scenes from the show! Do they study together? Do they enjoy spending time with each other's parents? Does Otis' mum come around to Ruby?
