MY TIME HAS COME.
Anyone who talks to me about DCTV and DCEU knows that I have Opinions. This was and has been my main fandom for years. The Flash has always been my favourite show and I've developed a little cast in my head of who I'd love to see act against Barry.
If I could cast it so that DCTV and DCEU were the same universe and all on Earth Prime, this would be my cast.
Barry Allen and Iris West

They are perfect and I accept absolutely no criticism. Grant and Candice are just Barry and Iris, there's really no debate. They have the chemistry and they play off of one another so well, and I absolutely love their iterations of the characters.
I'd make Barry someone who is more efficient and able to make his decisions without his team always in his ear. Barry Allen is a SMART MAN. He is capable of hard decisions and he is capable of thinking on his feet. I'm tired of the Flash always lowering his intelligence to give his team the limelight of saving the day.
HE WOULD ALSO GO TO WORK.
There's nothing I'd change about Iris other than having her storyline be in the journalism world and her struggling more with building the Central City Citizen. I wanted her to showcase what it's like to be in a world where paper journalism is losing in a battle with digital journalism. She needs to do the research on her blog and struggle. I love seeing Iris struggle because she always perseveres.
I will cease ranting about Westallen and save it for another day. (They are my OTP. I was going to get a boy cat and name him Barry for my Iris. You know I'm Serious.)
Out of his crew, I'd just keep Harrison Wells from Earth-1, Cisco, and Chester. The rest can go. (Wally West can stay.)
Eobard Thawne

If you know me, you know I need this man back on the Flash and I tweet about it CONSTANTLY. He is the superior Thawne. He has the obsessiveness, the arrogance, the "my farts smell so fucking good". He is fantastic and I miss him acting against Grant.
And can you imagine him against the rest of my casting??? Like, please imagine him bossing everyone around. He would belittle EVERYONE and not give a goddamn fuck! PLEASE.
Oliver Queen

Replace Error's Flopiver with the Superior Oliver Queen. I literally take no criticism. Justin's Oliver is charismatic and everything I think Oliver should be. He's able to play both Oliver Queen, playboy airhead, and Green Arrow so well.
And he'd say "You've failed this city" in a sexy way, lbr.
Lois Lane

There really is no contest. I'd love to see Erica and Candice act together. Can you imagine Lois and Iris initially being rivals but then coming together to support one another's journalism careers? We love women who love one another.
Clark Kent

Again, no contest. Henry has the look, but he doesn't have the charisma to play Clark or Superman. (He's Geralt, no question about it.) I think Tom is a great Clark and he'd make a fantastic Superman because he doesn't forget that Clark is the heart of Superman.
Lex Luthor

I MEAN, HELLO. The best Lex Luthor I have ever seen, no question. Give him the manipulative arc where he has a misguided heart and wants everything that he never had.
Lana Lang

I'd keep Kristin because of her chemistry with Michael and the fact that Lana became an interesting character later down the line. I'd prefer to keep her storyline one where she's trying to do her best to help those around her and is a little misguided. She and Lex would probably be a touch healthier in their relationship. She'd keep him grounded while he would do anything and everything to make her happy. Simp.
Dinah Lance

Can you imagine Jurnee and Justin side by side? They'd be fucking hot. Jurnee's Dinah has fire, heart, and she's fantastic. SHE ALSO HAS HER DAMN CANARY CRY. This version of Dinah would definitely keep Oliver on his toes. (This reminds me I need to write Oliver (Smallville)/Dinah (BOP) fic so I can finally retire.)
Bruce Wayne

I'll admit, Bruce is a character I'm indecisive about. I like Ben as Bruce physically because I think he captures Bruce Being Tired, but I have always preferred Christian's Bruce. He's an asshole and he's the exact opposite of Batman. Let's recast him completely to this babe. Lucien Laviscount was in Emily in Paris and was the best part about aside from Sylvie. He'd have the charm and arrogance down, and he'd look hot in the Batsuit.
Selina Kyle

I always wanted Rachel McAdams as Selina Kyle, but I have to put some respect on my girl Anya Chalotra's Yennefer. She can play seductive and she can play a woman who will step on Bruce and he'll love it. While Michelle Pfieffer is definitely The Selina, I think Anya could play a great Selina who captures everything that we love about Michelle's and add her own spice to it. Plus, we do need a less white DC world imo. (Also, I want a superhero who looks like me.)
Dick Grayson

Brenton is perfect. The writing for Dick is subpar. Titans needs to hire me stat.
Koriand'r

I mean, Mame-Anna Diop is perfection.
Conner Kent

You'll see I'm not changing any of the Titans casting here. Josh and Tom would look like spitting images together and I think they'd have so much fun. Josh is a dork irl and I feel like Tom's Clark would allow Conner to be more than just… a blank slate of knowing nothing.
Komand'r

The queen, I worship.
Diana Prince

Gal Gadot is perfect as Wonder Woman. (And, of course, I'd keep the Superior Chris as Steve.) I'd definitely fix up the writing for her, but I like what we've seen of her Diana and I think she'd be a fantastic mother figure and mentor to Donna.
Donna Troy

Conor Leslie and Gal would look so perfect side by side. Conor IS Donna. She has the sass, the heart, and plays Donna's insecurity in comparison to Diana so well.
Jason Todd

The writing for him has been so poor, but Curran is a fantastic Jason.
Tim Drake

PRINCE.
Barbara Gordon

She is perfect and I love the backstory they've given her. Savannah is a gem and I think she would be the right fit for my Superior DC Fake Verse.
Arthur Curry

I think Jason plays a great Arthur. Physically, he looks like someone who I would believe is the king of the sea.
Mera

While Amber is great as Mera, I don't really feel an attachment to her. What about Mimi Keene from Sex Education? If you haven't realised yet, I need my women to be capable of stepping on men. And Mimi's Ruby from Sex Education emits "I'm going to step on you and you'll like it" energy, and that's what we need with Arthur/Mera.
Cyborg

Not to get a little meta, but for the sake of a specific argument by a specific man, Ray is the perfect Cyborg.
Harley

Margot is perfect.
Joker

The only Joker for me. I really wish we had Margot and Heath acting at the same time because they would have been absolutely fantastic together. They'd definitely have an interesting dynamic considering Heath's Joker is very fucked up.
Helena Bertinelli

Look, Adrianne IS Bobbi Morse, but if Marvel won't respect her, I will. She can pull off the interesting facets of Helena and make someone you want to route for. I also think she'd give her a lot of depth and play her grief and vengeance superbly. I personally felt like Helena fell flat in BOP.
Scarecrow

There is literally no contest. Bring this man back!
Poison Ivy

If I'm not going to cast Rachel as Selina, it'd be this babe.
I will stop myself here. I think DCTV has made some really great casting choices and they're ones that I absolutely adore. I just wish the writing was of a gold standard.
I hope no one is surprised to know that I do have a fic in development hell that is most of these characters all interacting in the one universe. It's a self-indulgent thing I started years ago and wish to finish one day. One day, it will see the light. One day!
I usually don't like doing fancasts so this was a lot of fun!

I just love Lex in case it wasn't obvious.

Also, is Titans worth the watch? Because you really seem to like their casting.

I honestly wish we got Heath and Margot. (I don't like Jared Leto at all, and his Joker is just a joke in itself imo.) I think Heath's Joker would be terrifying and maybe even fit the M.O. of Joker kind of manipulating Harley as he seems to in the comics. (I just think Heath is the best live action Joker we've had.)

I like the characters and actors of the show a lot! (I know, you're shocked.) It has a lot of potential, and I think it's a lot of fun. But it's not the best writing-wise. Sometimes the pacing is a little off, characters seem to conveniently forget the development they had so that they can serve the plot and get from Point A to Point B... but while I definitely rant about it, I think the characters are incredible. The cast has great chemistry together and I think they elevate the material as much as they can. It's just a fun show you can watch when you don't want to think too much.

I know literally no one wants this but I'd pay to see a multiverse Lois Lane movie twenty times over with her as the lead, lol.
The rest I have no real opinion on because I don't trust DC to come up with anything coherent at this point. *wary sigh*

It's important that we make the broody playboy who dresses up as a bat hot imo.
