Where are my fandom meta thoughts for 2024?? Help me make them!
Amy March • Zoya Nazyalensky • Ianthe • Janine • Yelena Belova • Inej Ghafa • Natasha Romanoff • Wanda Maximoff • Cordelia Chase

Also inspired by the fact that February is for the ladies (!!!), let's use my Buffy tarot deck.
Comment below, and sometime in the next few days, I'll draw either one card or two to three for you from this deck. Depending on how I feel (i.e. if I feel compelled to draw from this deck), I may pull an oracle card from my new Seasons of the Witch Imbolc deck.
No questions for now, as I want to get used to my Buffy deck! I will ask the cards for a message for you, and you can take what resonates with you and leave the rest.

Send me a fandom (my profile has some of my listed fandoms) + a female character + (optional) a specific topic about her, and I'll write meta about her in February!

The Wheel of Fortune (10) / The Fool (0) / Page of Cups / Dark Days of Winter (17)
THE WHEEL OF FORTUNE: The Wheel of Fortune is all about cycles. What goes up must come down. You're about to embark on a cycle or transition that will cause a shift in your circumstances that has the potential to lead to growth. (Perhaps you're already in the middle of it, but with the accompanying card of The Fool, I would assume this cycle is about to begin.) My eye immediately went to the cat, who looked content perched on the top of the wheel, where it's looking head on without fear of falling or being tipped over by the spinning wheel. Anything coming its way it can handle, and so can you. There will be ups and downs, but remember that's life—and much like this cat, you'll get through it.
THE FOOL: The Fool is all about new journeys. With new journeys comes learning opportunities—this could be personal, educational, or physical. (With the Page of Cups card being one of the cards in the reading, I would assume it's personal.) The Fool is standing on the cliff, but look at how the cat doesn't peer over the edge in fear; it's busy gazing up, reaching out toward a beautiful butterfly. All it sees is the beauty in the beginning. Be undaunted by fear; release it and enjoy the start of something exciting. You got this.
PAGE OF CUPS: This card represents the potential of something new, the seed of an idea. Perhaps you're thinking about starting a new creative project—or you've gotten the seed of inspiration and are wondering if you should proceed with it. This cat is telling you that you should. Enjoy it, embrace it. This cat is looking down calmly, with the fish peering up at it just as calmly; don't be intimidated by your idea. This has the potential to leave you feeling fulfilled.
THE DARK DAYS OF WINTER: Keywords - "Embracing darkness, being friends with demons." Your oracle card encourages you to see opportunities for growth from experiences or memories of pain. Don't allow the past to stifle you. After every period of winter comes spring, where things blossom again. If you're uncertain about starting something new because of an experience, allow yourself to feel that pain, embrace it, and learn from it. Use it to nourish you rather than take from you.

I hope something from this resonates with you! I will be back with Buffy, I swear!

(Also, your cat deck! ;D Those are some beautiful kitties, and I really appreciate the way they integrated the meaning -- the fishbowl for the cups is SO clever.)

Would also love to give you a reason to talk about Yelena. I don't have a topic in mind, however.

TEN OF PENTACLES / 6 OF SWORDS / 4 OF CUPS / SELF-CEREMONY (37)
TEN OF PENTACLES: This card is at the end of the Pentacles cycle—it represents that you're at the top of your game, that you've made it to where you want to be. As Pentacles is the suit of careers, I feel like this card is saying that you are where you want to be at work (and if you're not, you will be). Great opportunities for skill development and growth lie ahead for you. This card can also represent that you've been comfortable enough to splurge on yourself (!!!) as an act of celebrating your success and achievements. Look for ways you can give back, whether that's helping someone at work develop a new skill or taking someone out (but remember to treat yourself, too—you deserve it!).
SIX OF SWORDS: You're going through a transformation and you're adapting to the best of your ability. Perhaps you feel like our friend here who's not quite sure who he is, but as six symbolises harmony, you'll be coming out of the transformation feeling balanced. As our friend is looking straight ahead, it means he's looking toward the future rather than peering back at the past. Forge ahead, be confident, and view change as an opportunity for you to grow. You can handle anything that comes your way.
FOUR OF CUPS: Take some time out to think and plan ahead. You might feel like you need some structure… or perhaps you simply need some time like the Mayor here to take a break, spend some time meditating on what it is you want for yourself, before taking action to find it. This card means you're feeling grounded and clear-minded (or will be after you take some time out for yourself). Purple symbolises self-esteem and devotion; if you're feeling a little down or out of sorts, devote some time to self-care.
SELF-CEREMONY: Your oracle card's keywords are "Planning, future self, material pursuits, focusing on desires". Manifest! Take action! You are the creator of your journey. This card urges you to consider buying that thing you've been wanting—it's a part of self-care! (If you can afford it, do it. If you feel like you've spent enough on yourself, take this as a sign that you haven't and treat yourself only if you can do so comfortably.) But this card isn't all about buying yourself something physical. It also wants you to take care of your future self. When you pull this card, it asks you to consider telling spirit what you want to do or enjoy doing, and instead of asking "When will this happen?", ask "How can I make this happen?" If you're unsure of what you want, envision your future self and see what it is you can do to get there. You're the master of your own destiny; spirit will listen and help you along the way—you just have to tell it where it is you want to go.

KNIGHT OF SWORDS / THREE OF CUPS / KNIGHT OF CUPS / GROUNDHOG (25)
KNIGHT OF SWORDS: Take action! This is one of my favourite cards solely because it's Glory. We know if Glory wants it, she'll go for it—and so should you! The knight is all about taking action, and swords is the suit of thoughts and the intellect, communication, and power. I feel like this card is very much reminding you that what you want to do is within your power, just like how Glory is holding a glowing ball of it in the palm of her hand. She stands confidently as a reminder for you to do the same.
THREE OF CUPS: You have things to celebrate! Share your achievements with those around you and don't be afraid to celebrate and let loose. Cups is the suit of emotions, and I feel that this card is reminding you to embrace your emotions (especially positive feelings!) and stop hiding behind the flowers. Celebrate your achievements; you're allowed to shine.
KNIGHT OF CUPS: Another knight, which means another opportunity for action. I feel because this is Spike as William the poet that perhaps it's speaking to the fact you're making progress in a creative project. Don't let your self-doubt get in the way; unlike William, your creative efforts aren't cringe! Keep steadfast, don't give up, and let your imagination run wild. Perhaps the Knight of Cups is linked to the Three of Cups — do you have a creative project to celebrate?
GROUNDHOG: Keywords: "Alertness, truth seeking, waking up." This card gently taps you on the shoulder to be aware of potential dangers around you, especially when it comes to the behaviours of others. If you feel something is off, it most likely is. There may be time to solve a problem before it becomes one.

THE SUN / TEN OF PENTACLES / FOUR OF CUPS / AQUARIUS (4)
THE SUN: This is such a lovely Major Arcana card—and a great moment in BTVS! The Sun is a positive card—look at how bright it is. This card is a reminder that good things are coming your way. You might have stepped out of a dark period and now you're stepping into the light. As you can see the vampires in the corners flinching away, I feel this card is suggesting that if you feel burdened by darkness, it's leaving you. Shine bright!
Remember the Sun is a Major Arcana, which means it's a theme that you might see crop up a few times over the next few months. This is a great card—it urges you to see the good things that are coming your way.
TEN OF PENTACLES (REVERSED): What's your work/life balance like? The Ten of Pentacles prompts you to look at how you're managing your day—are you leaving enough time to enjoy yourself? While the Pentacles suit is all about money, it also represents work/career and materialistic things. Consider whether you need a day off, or if you need to schedule in some time for yourself over the next few days.
FOUR OF CUPS (REVERSED): Take a break! This works well with the Ten of Pentacles, and might lead to fulfilling the promise of The Sun. Are you not feeling emotionally fulfilled? Are you feeling unmotivated? There's value to be found in taking a break—carve out some time to do something you enjoy, and you might find you get your groove back.
AQUARIUS: Keywords: "Visionary, individuality, risk taking." This card reminds you that the way forward is for you and you alone to decide. While you may wish to seek additional guidance, remember that your opinion is the one that ultimately matters. What is it that you want to do? What's holding you back? Give yourself a chance to go after what you want, even if it feels impossible. Take a risk, do something that you've been wanting to do—pulling this card is a good sign, and ties in beautifully with The Sun card.
